Thanks! I am just sorting out the details. I really wanted to pull the trigger on a 17' they had on the lot, but they wouldn't move too much on pricing so I figured that I would be better off ordering one in time for next summer.

Spent a lot of time flopping between F-Type SVR, Turbo S, AMG GTS/R and V10 Plus but I am confident in my choice now!
All of those cars are amazing, but only one is a true exotic of the bunch.

V10, 600+hp, stratospheric redline, mid engine.

If I was single this would be my car and I'd be gasping for air from all the pussy I was drowning in.

    Love it.

    I don't think a s63 is a great vehicle for kids.
It would be unreal. My family vehicle was an E63 which had piles of room in the rear for 2 car seats, the trunk could handle the big ass city select double stroller with piles of room left over, in comfort mode and with distronic plus it was unreal for long trips. I actually can't think of many better vehicles for families where you want fun and practicality.

S63 would be even better for the exact same reasons (besides performance), it's bigger and even more comfortable.

you're completely missing the point of my post. The S class luxury materials and rear seat setup would be annoying to have kids crawl all over. Same reason I don't live in an ultra-modern all-glass and concrete house or I don't take my kids to Azure Ridge for dinner. That's all.

Lotus Evoras are really starting to grow on me. Driver-centric, reliable, affordable, exotic-ish cars.

I dunno man, I've got all 3 of my kids trained well for car etiquette. Maybe it's the look in my eyes when they're even near my cars with just water that puts a fear in them. Everything else tho, they own me.

My dad was nazi anal about his cars and the back seats were emaculate in everything we owned. Even the trunk was free of random shit.

No food or drink and keeping the car clean sets an expectation that solves 90% of the shit kids do. Discipline solves the rest. Now I'm exactly the same way with how I treat cars and expect others to follow suit.

And that's what it comes down to! Being hard on your kids for a handful of years, which in turn may wreck a handful of evenings for you and your wife which makes them become kids! I can't stand seeing kids blow up in a restaurant, go home, take the fun away and they will start real fast to learn.

S5 SB is checking most of the boxes other than the rate and the current colour offering, we'll see next year.

I just stop caring. Kids are messy.

I bought an E63 wagon so my kids could enjoy it too. I could have bought some shitty SUV for $30K, but that is just punishing me.

    This is the back seat.
