    Default How to remove this screw...

    Anyone know how I can get these off? Its a Window limiting piece....

    Is it a security screw?

    Looks like a rivet... drill it out.

    There might be a screw on the back side into this? Got access to the other side?

    100% it's a pop rivet.

    Only way to remove it is to drill out the center.

    This end would be slotted if it was a Chicago screw / barrel bolt / sex bolt, whatever name you call it.

    Edit: didn't think of a nut-sert, but it's going by to be a pop vivet regardless.

    Yep had those on my office windows at UofC. Drilled them out and I was one of the few in the building that could actually open their window.
