Haha, just a little.
Jaw dropping in person, looked at it for a solid 30 minutes or so. 10 min later Bilal showed up with his yellow one.

The more I see that car, the more I think I like C5s. Maybe they just have to be black.

It’s got to be a Z06 or hardtop, the only good looking C5’s. It’s crazy to think they only weigh 3120lbs, only 80lbs more then the whiz bang carbon fibre Porsche Carrera GT of the same era. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I like neat cars.
I weighed mine today, it was 3225lbs with 7/8 tank of fuel and no driver. It also has a custom audio system with two subs, amp, rack etc that add some weight. LF 858lbs RF 853lbs, LR 705lbs, RR 808lbs.
Build is almost finished and then it will be an everyday driver. Now it's just a car I try to turn wrenches on everyday.
Now THAT is gorgeous! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
That Porsche.
Holy crap it's finally moving under its own power.
Looks fantastic. What powers that beast? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Thanks! Usually the big shiny air cleaner is a dead giveaway. Factory 426 Hemi car, not entirely stock internally (big cam, higher compression) and long-tube headers but a faithful restoration apart from that and power front disc brakes. The car was actually complete last year but we ran into issues with a cracked cylinder head and what turned out to be a bad transmission valve body that led to the whole powertrain getting yanked out again. Fun car for sure, mountains of torque, it breaks the tires loose at the slightest provocation. Still some kinks to iron out, the big cam doesn't seem to generate enough manifold vacuum to actually run the brake booster so the brakes are more of a vague suggestion at present. We'll throw a vacuum gauge on it and see if we need to hide an electric vacuum pump somewhere. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Admittedly i'm not a Mopar guy. Looks great, i'm sure it sounds awesome too. The BB Mopar's just sound mean all the time. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
A real man doesn't need brakes anyway. Awesome car, huge smiles-per-gallon.

We’re you transporting it down highway 2 yesterday? Looks sick post more!!
No, that must have been a different B-body, haha. Dirt common, these things. :P
Took a quick cellphone vid when were making sure the trans actually worked, I'll take better pics/photos later when we get the brakes roadworthy.
Thanks! Cuz it's certainly not getting double-digit fuel economy, haha. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
