    Repainted the garage door so i decided to take a picture of the car. Think I'm going to toss on the 10.5 wides and 315s this week. Been sitting in the garage.

    After watching that, I thought, why not just pull the motor to avoid removing the front of the car. Looks like you have to do it anyway. I guess there is no room for belts and that is why everything is gear driven on that thing?

    I don't think TDIs/diesels suffer the same severity of carbon buildup/deposition issues...at least I haven't heard of it as frequently as I have on DIs. Look at that - a saving grace! No walnut blasting (but...you gotta remove your entire front end for any service; trade-offs).
