Default How to make my TV + Monitors compatible with new PC

I ended up building a PC and put in the GTX 1070 card into it..

    http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX63645

Now I've always had laptops and never used "display ports" so I had my HDMI to 1 monitor and my DVI to the other monitor, I wanted to also hook up my tv to the PC but it only had display ports so i ended up buying a HDMI to display port

It seems you can only covert from Displayport to HDMI and not TV to PC so it's useless (Who the hell sells this shit? wtf is the point)

Anyways now I'm wondering how should I go about so my 3 monitors I want all work..

Monitor 1 ( HDMI X2, VGA (Comp doesnt have vga but i can convert to DVI)
Monitor 2 ( HDMI, VGA, DVI)
    TV: 3 X HDMI, VGA,

I'm thinking for the TV go HDMI to HDMI which leaves me

    1 X DVI
    3X Display port

Will VGA to display port work ? This shits expensive :O
    then go DVI to DVI?

    http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16815158211

    here is what I'm thinking

    TV: HDMI
Monitor 1: VGA to DVI (I have this converter already)
    Monitor 2: DVI to Displayport

    Suggestions what will be compatible?

What about HDMI to TV and use something like this:
    https://www.amazon.ca/Cable-Matters-.../dp/B004C9P9TM
for DP to HDMI on the monitors? or use the one existing DVI for one monitor.

This is what I purchased thought it would work the displayport is the Input and it would work if I wanted to hook it up to a projector and stream crap off my laptop onto it i think.. (not exactly sure)

But I do have 1 of those pretty much the same one..

You have made this very confusing.
    So outputs you have:
    1x DVI-D port
    1x HDMI v2.0b port
    3x DisplayPort 1.4 ports

    Inputs you have:
    Monitor 1 ( HDMI)
    Monitor 2 ( HDMI, DVI)
    TV: 3 X HDMI

Why even consider VGA when you have digital. What cables do you already have?
I don't understand your point about Displayport to HDMI and not TV to PC?

    Recommended connections:
    Monitor 1: DP to HDMI
Monitor 2: DP to HDMI or DVI
    TV: HDMI to HDMI

FYI monoprice is great for discount cables.

Do you mean you want to capture the TV output to your computer? If that's the case you'd need a capture card but it's not going to work with a digital signal because of copy protection.

Thanks realized this adaptar isn't working since it was "passive" i'll go pick up another one to set it up.

    I'll end up doing

    Monitor1: DP to HDMI
Monitor 2: DVI to DVI (why not? dont need adaptor)
    TV: HDMI to HDMI

    This should work..

Having a laptop was so much easier..
