The 4.0 TT V8 from the RS7 would of done very well in the R8 as the base model I think. Though with a tune it would likely destroy the V10 plus model.

Anyways, you can spec an RWS on Audi UK now. http://www.uk.audi.com/uk/web/en/mod...iuk:modelpages

I hope to god that Nogaro Blue is an option in Canada. Nice to see you can opt for the carbon blades too.

Very excited to spec mine out!

The original plan was to go with the Plus. Secured an allocation for an RWS and figured it might be a better car for me seeing as I'll likely only have it for a year or two and move onto something else. The difference between the RWS and V10 Plus is also the cost of an RS3 which I have been thinking about for a DD. Hoping that the RWS holds value a little better being limited production.

So the RWS is going to be 150k? That seems like a pretty good deal?!

Considering the NSX is 200k here. That can’t be right.

The Plus is 210-220. RS3 is about 70.

But was for sale on three separate occasions in that time... and underwent some serious transformation.

I'm guaranteeing you will have the RWS for less than a year before you supercharge it.

Was at Glenmore Audi today, and the sales manager told me the RWS is 168k and the only option you have is black or white. They are getting a black one in for sure.

Already picked out the kit I like .

Well, I guess we are just going to have to wait and see! I'm inclined to say the sales manager is full of shit.

Why do you think he's full of shit? You don't like the price or the fact that there are no choices to be made for optioning it out?

It's not like he's some random guy, I've know him for quite some time and has always been straight with me. He literally said, they are make 999 and the dealership has allocation for a black one. He wanted a white allocation because there's someone already in line for it, if it comes up. Also, maybe I was wrong on the price(166 vs 168) but I definitely recall it being 16X. I'll give you his cell if you want to ask him more about it.

I stand corrected, your friend is right. The reason I was thinking he was full of shit was because I called two of the sales managers I knew from Pfaff Audi and Kelowna and they said they didn't have any news. Didn't mean anything by it, just thought it sounded like BS after I couldn't get a confirmation.

I got a call about 15 minutes ago and they confirmed, the dealership I had a deposit with will only be getting 1 and will be black. Pretty disappointed to be honest, no customization whatsoever. Tough choice now.

I actually like these special cars to have no customization options other than color. CLK Black Series was like that, and it makes shopping in the used market a hell of a lot easier not having to wait for the perfect car.

It certainly doesn't make the new supercar buying experience as exciting. It will be my first car of this caliber and it was something that I was really looking forward to optioning out myself and getting the exact colour I wanted.

I don't want to wrap the brand new paint either! Lol

110K pound ..so 168K cad sounds about right .... ~$20K less than AWD and $100K less than the Lambo!

Loaded ~ $185K or so, right at the Benz GTC and 911 GT3 area(if u can buy one) ...

I think I would go Black. I'm not sure how much I love the white side blade.

Didn't you read all the other posts, there's no options other than black and white.

Well, $163k is the official number... If we're playing price is right rules...
