Dang, you guys are all taking it easy it sounds like. I am supposed to pick up my 07 TL-S today. Has Cooper Ultra Touring M/S. Will see if I can find some winters.

Quieter commute to DT this morning but a large ice base under that snow. Drive safely. Slick almost everywhere. Probably 10% of the usual staff are in most look like they're going to be late.

well that was the most awesome ever commute! I left 15 earlier than usual and still got to the office tower i park at my usual time.
Bow trail reduced to 2 lanes heading down the hill, not crazy conditions on the hill. Get to Westbrook mall and that stretch between 37th and to the 10th / Crowchild detour was sheet ice. Average speed there was 20km at best.
I enjoyed one brief moment of traction under a bridge.

Anyone on a bus that encounters a hill is not going anywhere.

Stayed home in Airdrie. Put my winters on my GLK last week but they have 60% tread left lol don't think they would do well in this anyways on top of worrying about people who are still on summers... Not worth it.

Deerfoot is a gong show don’t bother. Was in at 6 am and saw no less tha 20 cars /trucks Spun out. Hardly anyone is prepared and most are driving like complete fuktards. Really love all the idiots driving with high beams on the entire way in ...
A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

Had this convo a couple days ago, people in warm places are still dying from hurricanes, tsunamis, etc as we speak... Id still take this over that.

1 hour 20 mins from NE (Cornerstone) to Quarry Park. I'd normally have taken Stoney, but radio said there were trucks stuck on ramps near Paigan and Glenmore on Stoney SB, and then someone crashed into a light post so I figure it was shitty too. Saw about 15 cars in the ditch, and one CWP STI looking like my car hahaha, people after messaging me asking 'you okay?' it wasn't me!

Ya it's better than Vancouver rain and gloomy clouds all day... I just hate the driving in winter sometimes, a bit stressful, mainly other drivers.

I love how Crowchild was backed up all the way to Cochrane at 6:30am this morning. Took all the back roads, only 20 mins slower than usual. Not terrible. Would've been faster if I didn't make a couple of mistakes going anywhere near Crowchild entrances. Apparently crowchild wasn't moving because of accident on the glenmore bridge that literally blocked all lanes.

Glad I got the studs on yesterday. Flew by everyone haha. Air suspension lifted, just perfect in these conditions.

Man, it was refreshing to not be afraid to drive to work after a snowstorm for a change.

Winters have been on the LS430 for a couple weeks now. Left at my same time, made it to work about 15 minutes later than usual, still not late.

I barely made 60 in most places, which was still almost too fast sometimes. Coming from strathmore, through Langdon on glenmore. No plow at 5am.

only an extra 20 minutes for me, entirely spent on bow bottom which was backed from deerfoot to canyon meadows. All the traffic was trying to get on southbound deerfoot. Northbound deerfoot to glenmore was a gem, musta been quite something before the Ivorstrong bridge, as it was like having my own 4 lane highway..

There's like nobody in the core. Those stuck busses are just fucking up small areas. 5th and 4th Ave are dead, 6th is fucked from busses though haha.

EAST WEST is ok. North south was a nightmare. I was on 12 and head to 4th before I could go south.

Also used hill descent in my truck for the first time
Saved my ass on the hills in Mount royal
