She probably needed to use their toilet but it’s locked and she needed to grab the key from the front counter and they won’t allow her as she won’t be buying anything.. phew..

And the most logical reason was the correct (or closest) one.

"In limited cases across the country, restaurants have a restricted access policy for restrooms to ensure the well-being of our guests," said Tim Hortons in a written statement.

BC has some weird stuff going on sometimes. I nearly got sprayed by a crack head who busted out the firehose at McDonalds a while back. It hadn't been used for a while, so it was shooting this black sludge water out too. Luckily the hose wasn't very long and she got stuck.

As my fire suppression friends tell me, the lines in the fire hoses and sprinkler systems don't circulate, so it's always black sludge.
