Calgary residential scares me right now haha

I think the best position is houses under 500K... they go up quickly, but also offer easy turnover. My mistake was buying something outside of the average buyers range. Condo's in Calgary have too high of a carrying cost and I can't see strong demand for them coming back soon.
this is what most people think. blood in the streets.

    I agree with this.

As for robo-investing. You aren't supposed to look at it daily but then if you can beat the market, why are you using them anyway? at least now you know.

Buy some emerging markets, maga, canada, and done.

My funds took a huge beating this past week as well

I'm thinking about putting in more and riding the wave back up. Just not sure how much lower things might go but then again I shouldn't be trying to time the market haha.

Ya. Down 5% about $10k this past week. No fun but what can you do. Just numbers on a screen. Since Buster is sitting on some stacks, I think I should hold off on buying too.

Simply ride it out. In other news, Trump knows more than the Feds who are messing with things

Not that I have any real input, but...

Kind of seems like you are jumping the gun a bit. Everyone is down.

The couch potato method is to give a annualized 6-8% return over the course of 20+ years. Watching it like you are daytrading seems counter productive. Not that I really know much about investing, but it seems like the kind of thing you check every quarter and if there are ways to change allocations, make those accordingly every couple of months.

I am just finding it humorous that you bought into a product that is supposed to manage funds for you, and you micromanage it anyways.

Fuck I hate managed accounts... I realize it is a shitty day on the market, but my stock portfolio is holding up nicely in comparison

To top it off the never sent me an airport lounge thing either... fuck heads

Is there seriously not a single good investment vehicle out there? Why the hell is it so hard for an investment firm to earn a decent return? How are these companies so fucking bad at this? My worst loses haven't been on risky stocks... they have been on shitty fucking managed accounts. Every fucking time... they barely pull out 6% and then at some point they somehow lose it all in a day. Then they struggle back to 6% over a year... and gone again the second the market stumbles a bit. I am lucky if I make 2% on these mother fucking piece of shit asshole cunt fucker accounts. Fuck I am pissed off right now.

It's all a fucking scam, every single one of these stupid fucking managed accounts... scam

If anybody has a suggesting for an investment vehicle for RSP's that ins't a useless piece of shit please post it up. I need to pull my money out of this ASAP.
yo man, you gotta chill. it's ETF robo-investing which you're supposed to look at 20-30 years from now. you also got in recently in a mature bull market cycle so that's even more reason not to do anything drastic.

You just take a guess lol Dow was at 269XX peak and now at 251XX and my fave number is 2 so maybe I'll buy a boat load if it falls to 22222 haha

When you buy the broad indexes you can always sleep okay at night as you know the index won't go to zero.

As for SP, for a guy who knows so much, I'm definitely surprised by his rant lol
