As for robo-investing. You aren't supposed to look at it daily but then if you can beat the market, why are you using them anyway? at least now you know.
Buy some emerging markets, maga, canada, and done.
My funds took a huge beating this past week as well
I'm thinking about putting in more and riding the wave back up. Just not sure how much lower things might go but then again I shouldn't be trying to time the market haha.
Ya. Down 5% about $10k this past week. No fun but what can you do. Just numbers on a screen. Since Buster is sitting on some stacks, I think I should hold off on buying too. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Simply ride it out. In other news, Trump knows more than the Feds who are messing with things

Kind of seems like you are jumping the gun a bit. Everyone is down.
The couch potato method is to give a annualized 6-8% return over the course of 20+ years. Watching it like you are daytrading seems counter productive. Not that I really know much about investing, but it seems like the kind of thing you check every quarter and if there are ways to change allocations, make those accordingly every couple of months.
I am just finding it humorous that you bought into a product that is supposed to manage funds for you, and you micromanage it anyways.
yo man, you gotta chill. it's ETF robo-investing which you're supposed to look at 20-30 years from now. you also got in recently in a mature bull market cycle so that's even more reason not to do anything drastic. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Hold off on buying until it stops dropping? If so, how will you know? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

You just take a guess lol Dow was at 269XX peak and now at 251XX and my fave number is 2 so maybe I'll buy a boat load if it falls to 22222 hahaThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
When you buy the broad indexes you can always sleep okay at night as you know the index won't go to zero.
As for SP, for a guy who knows so much, I'm definitely surprised by his rant lol
