Also true. Made for an awkward police interaction as a waited to blow again to prove I wasn't drunk.

Should measure the effect of cheap beer vs the expensive shit Rage drinks
Key reason I stopped drinking is the discontinuation of Wyborowa Exquisite in Canada.

I’ll try to organize a challenge party when I can get the kids out of the house.

Mostly just a piercing "disappointed father" gaze as I explained I only had one drink, minutes before blowing.

These days I just uber everywhere. Too many close judgement calls in the past.

I’d love to be a part of the test.

I’m pretty sure some days two 5oz glasses of wine put me over. Other days it’s a handful of double scotch’s. It’s never consistent.

How much sleep and how much food you’ve had changes the rate you metabolize alcohol.

@rage2 - Bring me in for the challenge. I hardly drink, so it would be interesting to see how it affects someone with basically zero alcohol tolerances any longer.

In nine tries, Thompson was unable to provide a suitable breath sample. She was criminally charged with refusing to comply with a breath demand, her driver’s licence was suspended and her car was impounded. She called the police station to offer a blood sample to prove her innocence, but the police (correctly) said that wasn’t an option. For the next four months she fought an appeal, racked up more than $2,000 in various fees, cab rides and legal expenses, and had to rely on family, friends, taxis and even her boss for rides.

The charge was withdrawn when prosecutors saw medical evidence she had COPD, a chronic lung disease, and her licence suspension was overturned in September.

Article said this wasn't the only case and now truly shows how flawed this stupid law is.

The fact you could be criminally charged because you had a tail light out or the police want to do a random license check is bullshit.

Saw that article, that’s definitely a flaw if you’re not allowed to provide a blood sample instead.

I’m still for roadside testing for no reason.

I'm surprised by that. Why do you feel the need for roadside testing for no reason? If I got randomly pulled over and asked to take a test I would be pissed and annoyed and probably arrested because I would say no unless they had reasonable grounds.

I've seen so many people with tail lights burnt out recently. Fucking wish they were all in jail.

this is dumb. The police should be required to take a blood sample as evidence on request in lieu of a breath sample.

It takes 5 mins. And yes refusing to blow is as bad as a DUI. Always has been. Do not recommend.
