Pixel you can switch to designate Wifi calling over network calling.
Downside is it messes with 911 calls.
Anyone get the 30GB bonus data from Telus today? Got a text from them today saying they added 30GB as a loyalty gift. Checked my account and sure enough. Says I have 80GB per month shared data with the wife until 2031 or until I change my plan. Current plan is Unlimited 25 5G.
Looking around
Wondering what became
Of what I once knew
No but they just gave me 75GB for the same as what I was paying for 30?
So same same? Unlimited US texting as well if I ever get poor friends in the states.

Unless they're being greasy like Koodo and new plans are getting capped with lower speeds. They're always tempting me with higher sata plans but then lower the speed lol. Grandfathered ftw

I think I’m capped at 1gbps lol

I've never understood the care over speed caps. Nothing on your phone needs 100+mbps, however I do find Koodo has more delay than say Virgin when it comes to response time of loading a site. Has nothing to do either the speed and everything to do with the latency. Though maybe its a LTE vs 5G thing as Koodo was a while back. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. If its the same network technology just capped at different speeds, then you would be right i think. However, as you aluded, if its different technologies it would certainly matter. If your hose is bigger you will get the same amount of water of longer distances vs a smaller hose. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Where i know the difference does come is that the value brands like koodo, virgin and fido take less priority of the parents brands when it comes to bandwidth. So you may be kicked down to LTE if 5G is full or your data will be a lower priority on LTE if other parent brand customers are trying to fight for the same data.
There’s a pretty sweet BYOD plan available for new Telus subs if you have home services and switch from a competitor.
150gb 5G+ us/Canada (full roaming) for $52.50 first 12 months, then I think it jumps to 67.50 for the next 12 months.
Just have to call in to 1-866-558-2273 to sign up.
I hate the "for the first ____ months". Basically guaranteed you'll have to shop and waste your time for a better deal.
Moved to lightspeed for internet too because of the telus/Shaw jerk(off) around.
Since Shaw and rogers together now
Any deals for home internet and cellphone plans? You guys are on top of things so I think I can probably save a few bucks somewhere.
55gb cell phone plan $90 rogers
Internet 50 home plan $80 shaw

Public Mobile is doing 20Gb for 39$ promo.
Operator Of Beyond's Official Cardano pool.
Magical internet money for everyone!
Have any of you calculated how much data you actually use? If im not at home and I am on my phone all the time. Its about 4-5G a month Max.
I was paying about $60 with Fido. Then I switched to a $39 a month plan plus $5 international minutes. Its comes with 20G, the sales rep tried to upsell me on more data. I explained this is more than enough. I've had no issue on data speeds.
$36 for 75 gigs.
This is a reasonable plans. Don’t need more data than that. We are up for renewal soon. When we left Fido they didn’t contact us.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
