My 3.5 ecoboost does 14-15l city, like purely city, short commute never over 60.
Now commuting to a site with ~95% highway I’m regularly under 11.
It’s good, but the 2.7 is better yet.
Honestly, 12.5 for a taco in town is great. Can’t complain at all.

I’d like the new chev 2.7L turbo in the midsize. I think that’s a 30mpg cruiser, and decent bruiser in town.
It’s not even the weight of the trucks that differ all that much, it’s the frontal cross sectional area of the new Silverado that kills the mpg with the 2.7. That 4 in the ZR2 would be just perfect.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."
