You know, the electric hypercar that is all sorts of absurd (ly expensive, too).
2000 hp.
$2.1 million
250-mile range.
Thoughts?

Any car that is so unattainable as to be branded a "hypercar" is just a dick measuring device for billionaires.

How many electric Toyota engines does it have?

I’m pretty sure this post is inappropriate for this lawn-growing, coffee-selecting, retirement planning Lycra wearing forum. Please take it to a car forum

^ I laughed at that
Because too many people are feeding a troll about NASA and fake Buzz Lightyear.
car enthusiasts dont care about electrons.,
I have zero interest in cars of any kind at that price level, nothing about them appeals to me.

I say stupid shit all the time.
I did find it weird that barely anybody (even outside Beyond) is talking about it. Feels like Tesla gets all the EV spotlight these days, good or bad.
Also doesn't help that it's still vaporware, some of those specs are pretty far out there. Seems to be the norm these days, even the Taycan is starting to roll back some of it's announced specs.

This is why I don't care about it. It's just an idea now. Until it's built and for sale, it's just another car on a big pile of electric concept cars. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It's also tuned by Williams, so expect it to be way slower than everyone else.

It's funny: I'm part of the team that runs Supercars.net and I find I don't have much interest in million-dollar cars either.
But I've always loved Lotus as a company, despite its quirks and flaws. The Evija sounds billy badass and I'd love to see it live up to the hype.
I have no interest in most of the cars the average billionaire wants. Lotus was always a builder of niche lightweight cars to me and this is so far from that.
Yup, zero interest in talking about a rendering (because that's all this is, and likely all it will ever be). This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
FWIW, not just a rendering; Henry Catchpole did a walk around, etc...

Too bad those dick swingers make a ton of cash when it comes to reselling the hypercars. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Id buy them if I could over some of my other investments, but most of these hypercars are limited production and you simply cannot buy one unless your in deep with the manufacturer.
They're smart buys if your passionate about automotive and you have the means to acquire them.
