Isn’t there Duttons or daltons or whatever in the dome?
Ate at that place across the street that used to be loungeburger and it was good.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that place. I've been there for Stampede. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Anyone know how early I'd have to be there to get dinner before the game?
Tkachuk is so annoying to play against lol.
Watch the cat for different holiday hats!
He's like Marchand lite. Love the guy.
I'm still amazed we got him at 6th over all.
What did kassian call him after the game? A bitch?
hes just upset his shenanigans cost them the game. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

That Kassian thing is absolutely hilarious. Tkachuk wins that round for sure.

The thing about Tkachuk is that other than the elbow on Doughty a couple years ago, I can't remember him doing anything blatantly dirty the way a guy like
Marchand does.... last night's hits on Kassian were all legit.
I'm an Oiler fan since a kid but I like Tkachuk (and Marchand incidentally hahaha) but fucken stand up buddy. He tried to run and Kassian was just NOPE. I really enjoyed all of that, even without the W!

I say stupid shit all the time.
I play NHL20 with the kids and it’s rare to check a helmet off. Not sure why Kassians helmet was so flimsy considering none of the hits made contact with the head. Lots of Oiler fans are calling for a charging suspension on tkachuk but charging is an odd rule, it’s ridiculously broad and nhl only reviews charging on head as primary contact. The hits just looked really violent because that helmet went flying twice.

It was a 3-3 game at that point, you can fight and gain nothing, or run off and draw a penalty. It worked exactly as intended. That’s the play that won the game. The fact that tkachuk pushed lindholm away as he was getting pounded on made it go on that much longer and sold it as a double minor. He wanted that beating. Lindholm just stood there after controller disconnected with a front row view of that Beatdown.

Fucking Hughson was pissing me off last night. First he tries to say that Monahan knocked off an Oiler helmet on purpose. Then he's calling for a charging infraction on Chucky. We get it, you hate the Flames. Try to be more neutral on a national broadcast you tit.
Legal or not it was a cunty hit, if you wanna take that kinda hit on a guy like Kassian be ready to stand up for yourself haha he is a bit of a pussy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
IT's also a pussy move to ooootry to fight after you got hit clean. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If you put yourself in a position to take a clean hard check, tip your hat, get up and keep playing.
What does tkachuk want more in that situation? To "stand up for himself" or to look cunty and draw a penalty?
He knows how to tilt games in his favor.

Great hit that lead to the knuckle dragger losing his cool which cost his team the game. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Tkachuck schooled him.
He only has 2 more goals than the knuckle dragger, so I guess they are one and the same. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I completely agree... its a new breed of player - high skilled agitator, yet TBH its not like he's playing on the edge. I've never really seen dirty plays, just really well timed hits and ability to put on a show (drawing penalties)This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Tkachucky has surprised me... the way he skates and maneuvers I find looks lumbering, but he really has good IQ... makes moves with his reach and has a sneaky wrister. He's not a power forward like his pops, but is also way more versatile.
Doesn't even look like he chrips that much, but still gets under the skin.
Keep in mind, even though he may pick his spots... good hitters like Bennett, Callahan, Schenn, Borowiecki are tremendous skaters. The opposing team is fully aware of their presence, yet they can still make colossal hits.
