Mooseduro is tomorrow… probably lots of practice laps today
Whistler is primo right now. If anyone is up in the next couple of weeks I have a free pass for you.
Inside line has druids for an unreal price. $3,200 for a frame, $5,300 for a great spec build.
looking at fat bikes. Seems everyone just gets a Farley. Is that right?
hammered out Merlin, Kestril, Tom Snow, Long distance yesterday on my old Element and though the DH long distance part would have been much more fun on my other bikes.. wow jumping back onto a XC oriented bike makes "trails" so much easier
@dimi XT build or custom?

I'm in the market too, and my buddies are trying to influence me to Trek... Hard to go wrong, the Farley 7 comes with 12sp, 27.5"s, dropper, fork - for under $4k.
But I'm leaning towards Canyon Dude CF9, or Norco Bigfoot S1 (or just 1)...
Anyone here bought a direct to consumer like Canyon?
I’m happy with my studded tires on my regular bike… but mostly just ride fish creek, did ride moose once (winter fiver on sidetrax) and a fat bike would have been good there… curious about a middle ground 27.5+ studded wheelset’s performance
Yes, 2 Canyon bikes. Let me know if you have any questions. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I've been riding my Cube Nutrail for 4 years now and it's been a great bike. Lots of options out there for sure. The used market seems to be good as they don't get near the hard use that summer bikes get. Lots of people get them and shortly realize it not quite like the summer riding they hope for. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I picked up a Farley 7 at Bike ShopThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Cox Hill… fucking grind, but such a fast and chunky descent
Custom for sure. Sell the DPX2 and you have a frame for ~$2800ish, which is unreal. Parts are getting to be much easier to source nowadays too. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Edit: XT looks like great value too. Great option.
Any better ideas for how to store my bike rack, vs just having it on the floor in my garage all winter. They’re so awkward trying to place somewhere.
Only way to go

No no, storage of the bike rack (rocky mounts backswing) itself, not the bikes
This is what I do with mine. Your rack is totally different, but you could adapt the idea

Does the rack company sell a rack rack?
