    Meta Power AM (essential build)

…is that the brown (dirt)? Looks way more like their slate?

I went from golfing 15-20 times a year 10 years ago to between 0 and 1. No comparison.

Ercchry is right on the model, he had suggested it. and yah it’s “dirt”, plus actual dirt now haha.. excited to have something other than black for once! That was fun, I can see why people switch over. Still had an avg 142bpm HR for the ride too. Partially form fear I bet haha.

Boost mode uphill is insane, feels like it wants to throw you off. Climbed by at like 20 k/hr past everyone pushing up the climb on race last weekend, was hilarious

    Should be a ripper!

1 degree more slack, and 2mm beefier stanchions (and the ep8 is like 30% more powerful? And bigger battery) than this guy:

Going from 36 to 38 was a way bigger upgrade than I was expecting.

I've ridden a couple and don't know how you guys can say they're good on the down... they feel like a 1000000lb sled to me and it's not like my Nomad is light (34lbs)
Not trying to say this is your case but when i let the others try my E they said the same thing and im sure it was more they didnt want to like it. FFWD to this year with them all having one they would prefer the E down because it feels so planted.

Ripping uphill adds a whole new element to this sport.

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

I tried a few and that's just how they felt to me It doesn't really make sense, maybe it was the tires but they just felt unwieldy to me. I only tried 3 days though, one in Canoe, one in East lands and one in Ireland.

Timber is open on Saturday at Fernie, I CANNOT WAIT! Been waiting literally years and I missed the few days it was open when Elk was broken a couple weeks ago. Maybe see a few of you out there!

If you want a real powerband in the back country.
    2 stroke.

Awaiting eMTB Hill climb challenges and high marking.

Yah we all know about dirt bikes, but you can’t ride a dirt bike in fish creek and close to home lol.

    Plus I’d prefer a 450 anyway

Very nice, you’ll love the sight. My wife and I have had ours for two years and nothing but good times. Handles everything with ease

so many great bikes out there, and I think the 'sight' is that slightly trail type of enduro that works really really really well in the East rockies for all things from bike park to good trail riding. I ride a HT steel version of the same bike called the Torrent

I think its older and a bit under rated.

    That norco looks sick!

Maybe it's because i'm a bigger guy, but i'm still absolutely grinding up the bigger hills on the e bike lol...

Also i have lost what little skill and ability i had built up after essentially taking 4 years off. Wet roots make my butthole pucker way more than they used to i almost ate shit like 13 times on "canyonero" in fish creek, i used to have no problem on that!

^^ you gotta take those off camber roots near the bottom with some momentum. There is a smooth area right before them that you can get in a couple pedals that does the trick… but yeah, squirrelly in the wet and have ate shit on it a few times

Hills in Fish creek or WB type hills? Your weight will have a huge impact on the power though, just imagine the grind without a motor lol Do you know if your bike has that app where it lets you adjust the power settings? my buddy has the turbo levo and he can adjust his a lot with the app.

Hoping to head to Revy with the E before they close to do the 5620. Went there 2 years ago and even as a newb the flow trails were really fun so def looking forward to it now that I can ride better

Fish Creek hills, i Remember them being a fucking grind with no help for sure haha.. I downloaded the app, thanks for the pointer.. Boost is already maxed out though

I'd like to go ride some more flowy shit sometime soon! I'll never be a jumps guy, but need to get out further than Fish creek haha. Just need to convince my buddies to get e-bikes now that they're on sale.
