Yeah, fat bike was better for first tracks at moose for sure… but after it’s all packed down and there is a base I much prefer the skinny studs, when it’s loose climbing the float works against you and you end up sitting there spinning.. which is I guess a benefit that you can sit there spinning without falling over, but if there is something under the sugar/fluff/etc to cut into, then I find the real bike still wins, probably geo related too as it’s pretty obvious the two are slightly different

Any good flow trails to check out in Canmore? Or any good trail
    Networks in general? Cheers

Nordic centre is fun, not super difficult. The Odyssey is a nice lap and probably as flowy as it gets there. For more techy, go hit up Prospector

Might do Highline trail in Canmore this weekend. Then drop down one of the connectors and do the powerline ride, which is boring but have to get back to the car somehow.

    Anyone done that?

Couple times. Highline kinda sucks but is also nice. Never seem to stop climbing with the constant up and downs. It’s worth biking Mosquito Bite for all the wacky features. I park at the halfway entrance (east connector) but then bike down to the three sisters to climb, to make it a bit of a half and half

PV-JP or PV-Razors-Quaite-JP if you're going for a big day.

We’re gonna do a big pedally day if you guys want to join, not sure what we’ll ride yet, but the GF is doing a team 8hr XC race the following weekend so she wants a “practice lap”

^^I just sent this to some other guys who were on the fence. Those are some really good deals even once you add on the battery.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

If you thought covid was bad… you’ll love even more people and less parking (full ing’s lot is closed down)

The late show works well. We had Merlin to ourselves and the parking lot was empty at WB on Sunday at 1 pm

We often do weekends away to Fernie to go riding. What are some alternatives that are similar drives away that are good?
