Atmos is 3D positioning. So for music if there’s a location for a sound (ie snare drum) positioned above you, it’ll primarily play that in the ceiling and bits of that audio in other speakers depending on layout. What you’re talking about is selective eq on speakers, I’m guessing to optimize output based on the type of speaker?
