Sorry if it has been mentioned already, but how much does a standard 2-piece run at Huey? I see his site says they start at $499, but is there quite a range in price for different fabrics and/or design elements?

Umberto's Custom Tailors downtown is awesome. I'd highly recommend them for getting a suit or jacket made.
Henry's. Reasonably priced and very good. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I paid the big bucks to use Giovanni's in the past for a suit tailor and honestly wasn't that impressed, and it was ~$250 for some very minor alterations - for another ~$250 I can get a brand new full custom suit.
Huey Lam Suits can tailor them for you. He's just up in Centre Street between 8 and 9 Avenue NW.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I think $500 is the bare minimum you can spend (blended wool, polyester, cotton fabric). This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
For $600-700 you get into a higher tier fabric like 100% wool and nicer fabric look and feel.
Henry, been my go to for the last decade. Amazing work every time. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Pretty much this, I think mine was 500-600$ in the end; there's a bunch of fabrics that are the base price and then there are some premium ones. Just depends which you like more but there were a lot of good options at both price levels. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Thanks guys, I'll go to Huey this week

Probably for the best - the old place was super tiny and most of it was taken up by his drycelaning business. Did the job though. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
