    Default 3M Protection Shop Recommendations

I'm looking for a shop to install 3M protection on the front of my vehicle. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Refine did a nice job on my car, most people don't even know its got the clear wrap on it.

I have got PPF done at Shadow Tinting, Thompson Graphics, and Refine Automotive, etc and IMO Refine does the best work. I've had multiple vehicles done there and they are the only ones I haven't had to return to get them to redo panels.

Thompson graphics or tint tech is where I would go to.

Rainer @ Nanodefense is where I would go for PPF. Used him multiple times now on a few different cars.

Yup he sold it. He’s at Nano Defense now.

He did my truck last September, awesome work as always.

I got my truck done at Auto Protectors https://theautoprotectors.com/

By far the best price around at the time, perfect application and awesome customer service. They did full claybar and detail prior and finished it with a coat of Liquid Crystal free of charge. 10 year warranty (I think thats the 3M pro standard)

Highly recommended. Check out the reviews too

If one just did the hood and all doors...would 3M protective film areas look different than non-protected areas? Don't know how much tech has changed over the years.

They would look the same. Here is my G37xS that Rainer and Jackie did for me over at Nano Defense last year.

Full front end. Rest of the car was ceramic coated.

I have used ShadowTint for the past 5 cars or so. I like them, but should I be trying someone else?

With this thread being a bit dated - anyone know if Rainer/Jackie are still at Nano Defense? Still a high quality option for PPF?

in case any of you don't have duckduckgo installed, here's the website link:

Looks like their North location is very close to my house. I used Ranier at the other place last time, and I was really happy with the entire expereince. Will give these guys a shot next time I buy a car.
