My personal take is when will this Country stop sucking China's dick? The Government, not the people. Suck as many literal Chinese dicks as you like that's none of my business.

Day care open again, kid happy to go and interact - wife happy to have some space again although our little dude is pretty chill most of the time. Hand washing and clothing change when they come home.

I see a lot more masks now, when it really doesn't matter anymore. People are living full on in fear and walking around parks/wide open spaces now with masks and gloves. The only place I would bother still is an enclosed area like an airplane.

The potential critical phase was early on (thats when I wore a mask) and we are well past that now.

This is incorrect. Masks minimize transmission both on the outgoing and the incoming. Both are important and quite important right now.

Had a nice long chat with my family doctor yesterday, said she wears a mask in her office because AHS has made it mandatory but she doesn't wear one out in public. She's about 60 so definitely in the higher risk age group but she said as a society she wished we would pay this much attention to REAL problems like at risk lifestyle choices of smoking, weight control and mental health. Get that stuff right and Kung Flu doesn't get off the ground.

Again, walking around by your self in wide open spaces outside (social distancing), while wearing masks and gloves, is complete fear minded surrender and creating more waste.

You realize there's lots of times people don't stay distanced? Walk around any park and guaranteed someone will come within 6 feet of you passing by at sometime. Not to mention people jogging that cut by you and are heavily breathing. Or perhaps they went to a coffee shop nearby before going to the park. It's better to just leave the mask on then to try and keep taking it on and off.

But then again you just want to troll and complain so your comments aren't really surprising.

Exactly, how dare I ask questions and point out obvious flaws.

Again, wide open outdoor spaces, not a shopping mall or store. Also applies for people driving around solo with their windows down.

Again, talking down to people taking practical, small, and prudent steps to protect their health and the health of those around them is a pretty ridiculous position to take.

I was at the registry today. They tried to enforce social distancing. It was fuzzy. Only two people wore a mask.

In a public office. In the middle of a fucking pandemic.

So no, what you think is happening vs. the reality aren't in alignment mate.

There are too many variables (including what we don't know about covid) to make your position sensible.

I feel like he's not wrong. Wearing a mask and gloves when by yourself is nonsense. You are not protecting anyone when you are in your vehicle or in a field walking your dog completely on your own. It's not fucking rocket science.

It's also not a public health order to wear those items. They are currently recommended. So if it was actually a big deal the province would take the ambiguity out and just make it mandatory like many places in the US.

Masks are dirt cheap, like 30 cents a piece, and do absolutely nothing to detract from being outside so why does it bother you?

Heck if 10,000 masks are wasted but it prevents one person from catching COVID that ends up hospitalized then it's actually saving the province money in treatments.

How do you know that is the only thing they're doing? As pheoxs said, the whole point is not to fiddle around with your mask constantly, so you're judging someone who is wearing a mask in a car or walking in a park without knowing what they already did or plan to do that day. They could have been in elevators, stores, etc.
