Also, this should not even be a problem discussion to begin with any longer. At the start we had lockdowns with hospital cases at 1000, because 100% of the population was susceptible to covid. Now we have 70% vaccinated and only 30%(give or take a couple percent for the unhealthy drains on society that are susceptible despite being vaxxed) of population is susceptible. The only way for the hospital numbers to go parabolic now to the point of shutdown is if the vaccine doesn't work. People can argue about efficacy of natural immunity vs vax all they want. But natural immunity IS a form of immunity that is better than nothing. If 30% of population is going to refuse being vaccinated, they're going to deal with the consequences of contracting covid at some point in their life, might as well keep everything open and work through this fast as possible. I'd hate to see us repeat this mistake yet again.
