Heard some crazy ideas about how to enter and exit office buildings. One (or more?) is apparently asking people to not share elevators. So 1 person per elevator. That's going to go terribly.
My company has walked back the previous guidance that we'd all be back at our desks June 1. They are now saying "no date or procedure has been decided". I can't be full time in office until childcare is fixed, so September at the earliest. Although one or two days in the office sounds actually really relaxing. I'm sick of these fucking kids.

Yeah I don't see how the large offices can social distance. Our office has 8 elevators for our bank of floors and there was lots of times after lunch I'd have to wait for multiple elevators to pass because they were packed. No chance we make 1 or 2 people per elevator work. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
That being said I'll def be using the stairs lots when we do eventually go back so kinda excited for the motivation to get
I feel so bad for Brazilians, particularly those in Sao Paulo. There's essentially denial of COVID-19 being a problem by President Bolsonaro and hospitals are teetering on war-time triage mandates.

My condo building has mandated 2 max per elevator so I have been taking the stairs. 22 flights daily up lol At first it was death but after a month or so it's habit and it's the only exercise I get given the circumstances.

Yea as of today “leadership” is back downtown in the offices in our shop, I think theoretically I could go in if I felt like it but I don’t see the point.

I’m not smart enough to bring it to light.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."
