You can take away my haircuts, casino, massages and restaurants, but as long as I'm still able to go visit an immuno-compromised senior permanently housed in a hospital, I'll be fine.

I can still go visit an immuno-compromised senior permanently housed in a hospital?

Thank Baby Jesus that I can still go visit and immuno-compromised senior permanently housed in a hospital!!!

And what did the lockdowns in BC accomplish in terms of ICU loadings?

And as per the stats here; ICU loading are by far, people over 60 and those with preexisting conditions.

In the entire province of AB, 4,500,000 people - 643 people in hospital and of those, 100 or so ICU.
All BC: 352 currently in hospital. 74 ICU.
Not sure how or if that's come down.

Okay... So it is just me and my wife and we both work from home and our two kids are roommates in Airdrie. My son is not working and stays home because of the vid and my daughter works at a vet clinic. Am I right in saying they are not allowed to come to our house for Christmas? Now if my wife and I were divorced and did not live together, then it would be okay for the two kids to come over? Or if my kids were in University in Ontario, they would be allowed to come home for Christmas?

    This is fucked lol!
Combatting a pandemic results in some arbitrary cutt-offs that are designed to accomplish a mathematical goal. It sucks that we end up having these weird lines. If you asked the epidemiologists, they would tell you that having kids come home from university is also causing spread and they would probably love to avoid that as well. (Although kids over christmas in dorms would probably cause a spike in STDs as well as covid.)

I have no clue how shutting down gyms and salons etc, where 20-30 year olds frequent - will benefit the 60+ age group that is 'suffering' (if you want to call it that, in terms of raw numbers).

I don’t think that is anything resembling the goal.

We're still waiting for the mandatory masks and social gathering bans to start working.....no luck so far. Now parts of BC are blaming visiting Albertans skiing and sledding for our increases. Be careful, and check your lugnuts before heading back home!

If I send Tyler Shandro a picture of my sweaty dick, (obviously while I'm visiting the most vulnerable seniors in a retirement home), will my dick look bigger to him because his eyes are so incredibly close together? Or will it look smaller?
Or, should I still use a Snapchat filter to maybe add a fox tail or some animé eyes on it?

I need something to occupy my time while I'm visiting seniors. I'll be spending a lot more time visiting seniors since that's one of the only things left that we are all allowed to do (which I'm super thankful for).

People smarter than me is created the nomenclature.
Misusing it doesn't benefit anyone, and, using the term droplet does not indicate the belief that is only transmitted from surfaces. It indicates using the correct term.

Maybe there's a pile of anti-mask folks who don't understand what droplet means and use it incorrectly as an argument to justify their moronic position. I don't know, but I'm not in that camp.
You're really just being an asshole though, so whatever you need to say to appease your complex is fine with me, one of us is actually out here doing something about it while you e-thug at a keyboard over your interpretation. Its garbage abuse from people like yourself about the actual day to day out in the field is what is the worst part of all of this. I provided you information about the realistic aspect of how this can be transmitted in the real world, in real world situations, and rather than accept that information you shit on about nomenclature? I just don't get what you're on about here

I will quote an article in the Lancet dated Dec 1
Initially it was thought that airborne transmission of SARS-CoV-2 was unlikely, but growing evidence has highlighted that infective microdroplets are small enough to remain suspended in the air and expose individuals at distances beyond 2 m from an infected person. This knowledge is also corroborated by investigation of spread of cases between people who were not in direct or indirect contact, suggesting that airborne transmission was the most likely route. In July, over 200 scientists published a statement calling for international bodies to recognise the potential for airborne spread of COVID-19 as they were concerned that people would not be fully protected by adhering to the current recommendations.

On Oct 5, 2020, the CDC updated their COVID-19 webpage to say that there is growing evidence that COVID-19 infection can occur from airborne exposure to the virus under certain circumstances. Cases of transmission from people more than 2 m apart have occurred but in enclosed spaces with poor ventilation, and typically with extended exposure to an infected person of more than 30 min. The CDC have been clear to point out that most infections are spread through close contact and that airborne transmission is not the primary route of transmission.
Which is consistent with the conversation we were having regarding the precautions people were and were not taking that results in a degree of transmission we are seeing now REGARDLESS if its the primary or not route of transmission.

Whatever. No one cares or is talking about that, now.
Maybe we are simply not designed to be aligned. I'm fine with that.
Thanks for taking time out of the war zone to debate terms.
I'll bang some pots and blue lights at 19:00 for you, tomorrow. Is that what I'm supposed to do? Because, geez - I can't fathom how I'd have any idea what it's like for people in health care, or AHS, or Connect Care or Seniors' Facilities, or anything.

Needs sound. You can hear his dry hands scraping across each other over the mic. It's like an ASMR video.

PS5s just increased 1.5x their value in Alberta.

Anyone invest in PS5s? Triple meat Subway time.
PSA to anyone selling: don’t go solo. Lots of muggings for the PS5. That’s all.
