“ We are also facing the prospect of the imminent collapse of our provincial health care system. ”

The system has already collapsed, we are postponing surgeries. Next step is moving to triaging unvaccinated old folk to the back of the line. I see no issue with this.

It's not that they're stupid, they are just greedy and self-serving.

    Correct.

Why wouldn’t they advocate for continuing to being paid while getting a few weeks or months of vacation time.

Standard union dog fucker nonsense that should be paid no mind.

Yup. And you can bet they'll be advocating for way more money next "bargaining" round too to make up for all the danger and hardship the poor, poor members endured.

Look at the lady who declared a workplace incident at air Canada from slipping down her stairs in her bath robe at home working from home. Dangerous shit.

    Lmao.
The lengths people will go to get paid to do nothing is hilarious.

So a call center employee who will sit at a desk and answer calls all day is incapable of....... sitting and answering calls all day because they fell down their stairs?

This will be a modified duty case.

The common assumption is that the average citizen wanted Covid to be "stopped". Lets not forget that most of the USA is still religious, and that god will protect them through plague and famine.

If they had spent 1/100th the amount on human health then they did on the F-35, Covid might never have been a thing. But realize that health is obviously not the priority, especially considering obesity rates. Overabundance of food is of extreme value compared to health. Health is arguably right down below cigarette butt for many people.

Give the USA a choice between tobacco and broccoli - and tobacco wins every time.

She's just following the lead from other parts of the world. IIRC this was done (and claimant was successful) in Germany a month before that one.

Part of our WFH agreement is you allow corporate to audit your working environment to be safe and for remediation. I thought that can of worm was opened months ago.

Your home work environment should only be the desk and computer you sit at.

Hahah, people are so fucking done. Had lunch at an Indian buffet today, no request to view vaxpass, and supper at a seafood place, no request to see vaxpass.

People want the Omicron, because if it mutates into something more deadly in the next six months - you won't have any protection against Necron.
