    Default Power Wheels

So we're going to be getting our daughter a power wheels for her bday, but I'm having a hard time deciding what to get. There's two power options (6V or 12V, we're going to get 12V), and literally dozens of different cars you can get. From what I can tell, the vast majority of them are made in China and presumably not great quality. Actual Fisher Price Hot Wheels all look stupid (basically a wrangler or F150), but they go a lot faster (8kph top speed vs 3.5kph for the China ones), and have readily available replacement parts, batteries, etc.

I'm leaning towards the Fisher Price ones (reliability and speed), but want to know if anyone has any experience with the China ones. TIA!

Replacement batteries are readily available nearly anywhere. 12v is just a little easier to charge if you supplied charger breaks.

You can mod them too so that they’ll run on 18 or 24V and go fast as fuck.

Just make sure you get one with a variable throttle, especially if you're gonna juice em up

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

Interested in this also. Need a 12v this summer for the boy. Want one with the remote, but seem hard to find. Already have him a ttr50 and a Z120, so he needs to get some practice in. He is 2

Just got this one and put it together. The remote is a little slow responding. I suppose we will see how it manages.

I have always wondered what they sold at Uncle Wiener's.

    Two seater 12V at Costco.ca. I'm tempted.

Man, when I was a kid, those commercials made me want one of these more than crack, insulin and a COVID-19 vaccine combined!
I see so many now, it's amazing. Still a super neat toy, even if it's luxurious.

We got one of these for my son. Drove it maybe a dozen time. Daughter has driven it more, but not much. When I was a kid, I would have killed to have one. Make sure your kid wants one.

That's why you don't name your kids Dr. Quinn and Medicine Woman. If you had named your kids Walker and Texas Ranger, this type of shit never would've happened.
