I had a chiro successfully resolve some back pain by identifying that I had tight hips, and giving me some stretches/warmups before my workouts that helped. I would not pay $150/week to take my baby for a neck massage.

My very good looking massage therapist did the same thing, and I also got a 90 minute massage. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
My benefits cover the baby chiro, i think we pay $10 out of of pocket per visit and the cost spreads out to once a month over a year
She showed us a few holds and things we could do at home when they were newborns that helped with the colicky-ness and fussiness and now that they're walking and falling all over the place, a couple of stretches we can help them do when they've jarred something
They also have a masseuse that works for them, so they can split benefits if I run out of one or the other and want the service, the wife likes the chiro treatments and I prefer massage treatments, although the chiro has shown me a few good stretches that help my sciatic pain
I think chiropractors can be decent or salesman just like any profession. I have been to a few at different times through my life. Two were good and helped my back pain tremendously, but they were straight up and said that alignment was only going to be as good as I was willing to work on the issues for a lifetime through strengthening my core, adding physio and doing some message so the fucked up muscles don’t pull things out of alignment again. Each of the good ones were just a few sessions and sent me on to other people for the things discussed.
One was a quack who wanted to sell me on every quack thing under the sun and telling me how we need to do a minimum of 3 sessions a week combined with other services they offered for at least 6 months and then re-evaluate. I walked out and never went back.
All chiros are quacks.

Not sure half the people denying chiros being quacks really know what quackery is.
Its not just predatory business practices lol.

From wiki: The percentage of the population that utilizes chiropractic care at any given time generally falls into a range from 6% to 12% in the U.S. and Canada, with a global high of 20% in Alberta in 2006.
The source says it’s because we, along with Saskatchewan and Manitoba are the only provinces provide to partially provide chiro coverage.

Any tips on daytime naps for a 5 month old?
We’re having a really hard time getting my guy down for any sort of day time nap. He sleeps fine at night… which is amazing. But if he could get an hour or 2 during the day it would do wonders for my wife.
Some kids don't nap much. It's a thing.

Use a sound monkey or some sort of white noise sound machine.
Make their routine the exact same everytime you want them to sleep (bathing excluded of course).
Dark, Sound machine, routine, agreed on all parts. No Chiro though lolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Edit: Emphasis on Routine in my eyes... Very important.
