Shit. I read the post as Grayson Murray and wondered what that asshole had done now.
This is much better.

Cars aren't that exciting for me any more, as I've mentioned a number of times. For me, the list is just getting short. Too much weight and tech and general nonsense. Too much focus on speed over experience. Too many gimmicks (offroad Lambos?).
Nothing makes me feel like a little kid any more. Just a bunch of cynical youtube influencer BS with their Mclarens and whatever.
But Gordon Murray made a car that makes me feel like a kid again.
@SSO ... you gonna get one?
This thing is without question my #1 dream car. thesmokingtire did a great podcast with GM, with a decent amount focused on this car (they also talked about the F1, the SLR, and some other stuff), but it's simply unreal. The podcast is definitely worth the listen.
Is it simple unobtanium?
Cars that can’t be bought are uninteresting to me

It depends on why they are unobtanium. If it's because of douchebag Ferrari/Porsche dweebs, then sure. But this gets a pass. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I inquired about a T33 Spyder and will buy it given the chance. I’ll also probably put 10km on it each year.
Doesn’t look promising but we’ll see what happens.
Are they limited in terms of production? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Only 100, and I’m quite literally a nobody so fat chance for me I think.
I recon they’ll be worth $6,000,000+ come 2030.
Your not nobody to me dude. You're somebody. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Sadly that boat sailed back in 2020 and I has left sitting on the dock. Right decision at the time but regret it now. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

There is no way the price in the secondary market drops below MSRP on this car. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Those are my thoughts too, though it’s a bit hard to fathom.
$800k Canadian for deposit. $3,189,000 total.. I’m in the boat that it’ll be a $5m+ car in short time and only go up from there.
It’s just a big gamble at that price tag. But I’ve speculated on car values for the last 20 years only to watch the cars I dreamed of appreciate insanely. So probably worth taking a shot given the chance

The hero we need, not deserve.
Somehow I was offered an allocation. Having a hard time putting my money where my mouth is now. Extra $560k in gst/lt makes it a very hard pill to swallow. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Go fund me?
That tax is nuts.
But you should definitely buy that car.
