This makes me hard.
Haven't watched the vid, but looked through some pics this morning. Seems like it's basically his second shot at doing a revised Mclaren F1, and there's some design elements (lower front bumper, and a pile of the interior) that look very reminiscent of the F1. I love everything about it, except that center mounted jet exhaust looking shit in the back. If I had a few $MM to spare, I'd buy this car over basically anything else in that stratospheric price bracket (e.g. Bug, Koenigsegg, Pagani).
It's by far the most appealing hypercar. GM is god. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
And you are right, as you watch the video, you will realize that this is basically F1 V.2....very close.

I love that it vacuums itself to the ground.
Technically, it's not vacuuming itself to the ground. You'd need way more power for a vacuuming effect. It's simply accelerating the airflow under the car to increase the "ground effect". The same principal applies to the '09 blown diffusers, and the Brabham F1 fan car created by Gordon Murray. Much less effort for way more effect. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

How long till the Beyond Civics (Miata) start running fans on the rear?
Gordon is a purist and I want to like the car but I don't. The back end is out of the 90's.
That said if I got to drive one I would probably change my mind.

I don't love the soft shoulders from the side view and the rear end does nothing for me. That being said, super cool way to show off the engine compartment and store your luggage and you know it is going to be a dream to drive.
It looks .. tiny .. or they are huge?

To be fair, I think Gordon Murray and Harry Metcalfe are both well over 6' tall too... But yeah, the T-50 is relatively small. I saw something else reference that it's the same width as a 992
But it’s slower with a manual...
