People complaining about corporate greed are likely bitching about CEO-to-worker compensation ratios. Back in the 60's, it was 15:1, then late 80's was 44:1, and now it's 399:1. All of this is widening the wealth gap where I'd wager half of North Americans are living paycheque to paycheque. It's less about others have more, it's about low income earners not having enough to live despite their hours worked. At this point, if your parents aren't providing you with some generational wealth, it makes it exponentially more difficult to improve your quality of life as a future generation.
Maybe naïve but the basic concept of corporations needing to make money to continue being a corporation isn't lost on that many people. You've definitely got people on either end of the wealth spectrum that have no idea how money works.
