Rates are at historic lows, Glen.
Rates are at historic lows, Glen.
The average Canadian thinks the federal government is an endless piggy bank.
This is the logical outcome of that mentality.

Tax and spend our way to prosperity
Prosperity can't be left to the plebs. The Laurents will tightly control it.

So this budget has a spike in cap gains inclusion over 250k which targets “the highest earners”, as well as anyone that shelters and defers taxes behind a corporation which doesn’t even get a 250k freebie. So high skilled workers such as tech workers, doctors, dentists who throw everything under a corp all of a sudden has a 30% hike in taxes for any capital gains triggered. I guess all we want are Uber drivers. That’s an even bigger FU than anything the ucp is doing to doctors lol.
The spending is hilarious, none of the spending encourages growth. Just various programs to gift the unfortunate GenZ because they don’t get anything for their hard work or something?
Comical.
