So if electric vehicles aren't the second coming of Jesus Christ (which I can't believe I agree with Stephen on this), why the fuck is his department working so hard to ban gas-powered vehicles by 2035?!

Hint. They don’t want people to own any personal vehicles, just like guns they will keep moving the goal posts until everything is banned.

Their playbook isn’t complicated, nor any big secret.

The fatal flaw for Canada and Canadians, is the belief in government institutions (public healthcare, etc). It makes turning Canadians into little zombies so easy.

Why did they announce it? Because California and Europe did, so they want to show their supporters they're taking it as serious as they are.

As for working so hard, are they? Or is it just virtue signalling by parroting the bigger movers and shakers?

I'm going to agree with this. They announced because they are following other jurisdictions that they admire. And it's not hard work, it's nearly zero work in fact.

Sounds like they want Soviet-style Communism to me.

    Look - we fixed housing!

    Attachment 118153
It's also insane that the poors who are pushing this, don't have any outlook as to where it ends up. They all live in bedrooms, or on the street, mom's basement, etc. So they think having a 600sqft apartment for "free" would be great. They don't realize that it's their forced labor output that pays for it. Or that when you leave your housing up to the government, the government gets to set the goal posts on what your "needs" are. So that 600sqft apartment, turns out to be a sleeping pod in a shared accommodation center. If you're lucky, the person you hot bunk with between day and night shift isn't a fervent masturbator that leaves you semen surprises in your bed on the daily.

So reliant on the government that the suggestion of the federal government not funding new road projects will cause even the most staunch capitalists to panic and lose their minds.
I don't know what capitalists have to do with it? The government wants to steal 50% of my hard earned labor, they better fucking well provide the absolute bare minimum with that stolen effort. My economic identity doesn't have a damn thing to do with it.

I have no issue privatizing roads, but I better get a 10% cut to my taxes.

If they aren't going to fund things, they should stop taking our money.

Woah woah woah, they will take our money to fund other things. Like other countries.

    This is the best explanation.

By being in Canada, you are essentially sitting in a piss filled hot tub with a bunch of people who like piss filled hot tubs because they think that's why the tub is hot.
LOL. Couldn't rep you so quoting for the perfection of this statement.

The government funds plenty, and are finally prioritizing something by not wanting to fund things outside their scope. I think it’s a good idea the federal government doesn’t want to be throwing billions to fix provincial messes in GTA and suburban Montreal interchange projects. Fine if you do, but I feel there are better things for the federal budget to focus on.

Where's the fallout from that Cabinet Minister calling PP a "fucking tool" on the hot mic in the House Of Commons?

How did that story get buried and die so quickly?

    First I heard of it.

Further proof Canadian media is nothing better than a propaganda apparatus.

This video both sucks and blows, but it shows Arif clearly doing it and then Weasel Sheer formally complaining about it.
    Then what??...
Nothing? Did the recording "experience this differently"?

They need more bench brawls. That’s the problem. Trudeau getting tossed on his head would benefit all.
