I would have spent the last 2 weeks there if not for the bubble, cancelled my WestJet flights. Their loss.

But hey, I read something this morning saying that Atlantic Canada is trying to add Cuba to the bubble so who fucking knows what’s going on

My work would have been sending 6 people there for a project but with the bubble its not possible, so we cancelled. no one will pay professionals for 14 days of idle time / hotel / expenses before any work can be done.

I was trying to think of the last time that Atlantic Canada crossed my consciousness before I saw this post.

I don't have any opinions other than the Maritimers can suck it with their bubble.

I have taken it upon myself to stop purchasing PEI Mussels in favor of New Zealand Mussels. Cow's Creamery is also dead to me.
Maine lobsters are better. What's the cost of taking out a full page ad out there? $5?

This year a lot of Canadians woukd have vacationed in Atlantic Canada since travel outside of the country was so restricted. I guess it's up to the voters of that region to decide of they won or lost by avoiding that.

Damn there goes my travel plans to visit Atlantic Canada - Said no one ever.

Visited Halifax for a week work trip. Don't see what all the fuss is about. Just a Navy port with shitty old boats and drunks.

The bubble is bursting anyway. Moncton got an active outbreak.

EDIT: YYC to Halifax is only $670 in mid Nov. That's cheap isn't it?

Not bad, not great. $800ish is just standard every day pricing for YYC to Maritime cities. Outside of Christmas time of course.

My wife told me that it stood for that, I personally had never heard of it before.

They encourage leaving over there, well leaving and coming back with more money, I left and stayed here. Its insanely expensive to live in NZ without lots of $$$ my only friends over there either have multi millions or family helps them out.

I wonder if AC was ever planning to cancel their routes to Atlantic Canada. Would be interesting if WJ one upped them. Atleast they still have a bus service...
