I think it'll be really funny if the results of the studies actually verifies Invermectin as a viable early infection treatment. I'm rooting for it just for the lolz even.

Definitely will be interesting to see. During the India waves, both Remdesivir and Ivermectin were used extensively with wildly varying results depending on the regions. FDA did eventually authorize remdesivir for treatment, which was odd because there wasn't much study done on it. End of the day, nobody knows how well both drugs work, data from India is pretty fucking sketchy to say the least. That said, India did pull authorization for Ivermectin last month so I guess it didn't work.

edit - looks like hydroxychloroquine was also dropped from India. Remdesivir still a go there.

Rendesvir has to be given early,.. if you wait too long its effectiveness drops a lot.

Fauci leaves himself enough wiggle room to justify his actions, it’s why I am charitable and put his position as trying to help, but the message he and other officials have sent by not laying all their cards on the table is reason for doubt in a subset of the population. You don’t have to agree with the reasoning, but that 25% of the population exist, and it is hard to tell them to listen to the experts when those same experts used white lies/half truths/lies by omission as a means to get to the greater good.

By two antivaxers do you mean the hosts or people in this thread? I’m a bit confused there.

Got my third shot this morning. They asked me if it was my first shot or second. I told them third. Not a problem, they just made sure enough time had elapsed between my second and third shot.

That squares me up for no mixed shots unless the goal posts get moved.

Are they just afriad of needles or something... for fucks sake i have seen what some of you put in your bodies this should be the least of your concern.

Both are dual vaccinated and very much promote vaccinating but are highly sceptical of fauci, which to me is understandable. I appreciate the quick response while at work lol

Fauci and Co don't deserve to be trusted. They lied about masks in spring of 2020 and they claimed the BLM protests were acceptable because racism was more dangerous than covid.
