Sask must be doing something right on the vaccine front.

"We just learned what a Trudeau summer looks like, looks like you’re still locked down in many instances. We’re not doing that in Saskatchewan," Premier Scott Moe said on Friday.
Saskatchewan has scheduled Step One of its reopening roadmap for May 30 after hitting the threshold of 70 per cent of residents age 40 and older with one dose.
In Step One, Saskatchewan is loosening restrictions on restaurants and bars, and allowing more people to gather indoors and outdoors, both privately and publicly.
Step Two is activated when 70 per cent of residents 30 and over have their first dose. It removes capacity limited on restaurants and bars, increases the gathering limits and lifts restrictions youth and adult sports and recreation.”
Nothing like drinking a cold Pils watching mediocre football.
If you're not allowed to leave your country, your province, go to the gym, go out for a fucking beer with friends, that's pretty god damn heavy. I do envy your pacification though. I wish I could be as easy going about losing everything in life that makes it enjoyable. And I'm the LUCKY one. So many people have literally lost their livelihood to put food on their table. But yeah fuck them right, starving is nothing more than a "nuisance" as you put it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I never vouched for him. I have no idea who he is. But based on his other posting he doesn't appear to be a troll. Pretty sure he is a trades guy, and likely works shutdowns in Fort Mac or something on night shifts. Which would explain the late posting at the same time every night. And it's not like he posts far out wild shit, he generally copy pastes stuff from somewhat legitimate news sources. And most of it is just irrelevant for anecdotal reasons, he isn't talking about lizard people and flat earth conspiracies here. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

At the moment, you will get either Moderna or Pfizer. They are not vaccinating any more first doses with AZ and J&J is on hold for now. The two mRNA vaccines are essentially equivalent in what matters - protection from severe disease and death. Take whichever one you can get the first appointment that is convenient for you to get to.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
We are getting about 3 times as many Pfizer doses than Moderna, so that may be better for the second dose timeline but that’s just conjecture on my part.
I received Moderna because that’s what was the first available for me. I would have taken Pfizer or AZ too.
I guess you could. I don't see the point. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I think if you are taking many days to decide if/when/where/what you officially fall into the "hesitant" category.
I personally didn't want to wait. I don't want those I love to wait.

I don’t even think this would be the case as Moderna deliveries are going up as well. We’re expected to get about as many Moderna doses in the next six weeks as we have to date. AZ is the only vaccine where second dose availability is up in the air. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
No I have options within days, and besides... I live in the Forest and have zero contact with anyone this week coming. I just found out I have to go to a registry first and get the address changed on my Alberta Health Care too now. I will do that Monday and we will get booked in...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I do think the Pfizer comment made by @xrayvsn makes sense though. If we are getting more of that then matching second dose easier is a check to the plus column!

Pretty sure the people at the vaccination site are capable of updating your AB healthcare information. They sure seem to try to every time I get anything medical done.
Just book the shot. AHS doesn’t really care where you live

Whatever system is used for vaccinations, it’s not connected to anything else in this province. It took an extra 15 minutes to enter me into their system, even though I’ve used various health services numerous times in the last 17 years from my current address. It is for vacinnations only, which I haven’t had since I was a kid. (Twinrix’d myself)This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It’s not even a requirement for the appointment, show your healthcare card. Get your jab. Move on.
I don’t even really know why your address is a relevant part of the conversation. If you chop your hand off, walk into a hospital, do they send you to the registry to update your information before they agree to administer treatment?
