    Third doses being offered to:
    - seniors in congregate care
    - immunocompromised
    - people who received mixed AZ/mRNA travelling to places that don’t recognize that combo as fully vaxxed

Indeed. I'll open the newest International Stereo locations and include other value added services and schemes of the pyramidistic varietals.

Of that Reported to VAERS, which may be 1% of reported Adverse events from the experimental vaccine, there has been 623,343 reports of adverse events including 13,627 deaths and 84,466 serious injuries between Dec 14, 2020 and Aug 20, 2021, with injuries jumping 27K in one week.

But it's all safe they say, even though medical trials have not been completed, no long-term testing on side effects, and over 13K reported deaths in the US. Let's roll out the boosters on an experimental vaccine that don't work. Money Money Money Moooney. Mooooony. FDA answers to Big Pharma. The last FDA Chief just took a job at Moderna. Yes, Moderna, the one where 1.6 million doses were withdrawn in Japan due to Metallic contamination.

Humans want statistics to make intuitive sense, but they often don't, and this simpsons paradox is one of those times. Pretty much a selection bias.

More Fake #s to Pump up to make everyone scared of the Covid Bogeyman. If you die within 14 days of getting the Jab, that's an Unvaccinated death, according to the CDC

They did the same thing with cases using the PCR tests with over 90% false positives using purposely high Cycle Thresholds, did the same thing counting anything as a Covid death as long as you tested positive for it when you actually died of something else, or medical professionals just straight up being pressured to list a death as Covid.

@kertejud2 - The reality is that no, you don't need a vaccine if you've been previously infected. You're going to have immunity which is more robust, and lasts significantly longer, than vaccinated individuals. You're more likely to continue to have immunity against future variants. The immunological improvement is not statistically significant enough to warrant vaccinating this group, outside of specific cases (read: co-morbidities, at risk groups).

Here's 15 sources that back this up.

Boosters vs Vaccinating Developing countries - right now there isn't evidence that boosters will be effective. CDC is operating based on "hope":

Herd immunity isn't going to happen. This virus is with us forever. I assume you're equally concerned with advising everyone to lose weight, eat healthy, get fit, and eliminate unhealthy habits.

"If the question is 'will vaccination alone allow us to dampen and control the pandemic?' the answer is: no," epidemiologist Mircea Sofonea told AFP.

He said herd immunity hinged on two basic factors.

"That's the intrinsic infectiousness of the virus and the efficacy of vaccines to protect against infection. And at the moment, that efficacy isn't there."
    https://www.france24.com/en/live-new...immunity-dream

As a disclaimer (since I see the hurt feelings a mile away, lol) - Get vaccinated! Especially if you're in an at risk group. That means if you're overweight, a smoker, a drinker, eat like shit, etc - you're could have a bad fucking time with this virus.

Just because I'm debating the acquired immunity/vaccination question (which actually has more to do with why vaccine passports are useless) doesn't mean I'm anti-vaccine. Go get that shit. The whole point of my posts in this thread are to address four things:

    1. Hive mind
    2. Repurposed Drugs
    3. Vaccine Passports
    4. Acquired immunity

    and with that...

"Vaccine passports would be immoral and a massive government overreach even in the absence of these findings. There is simply no historical parallel for governments attempting to restrict the movements of healthy people over a respiratory virus in this manner."

“The natural immune protection that develops after a SARS-CoV-2 infection offers considerably more of a shield against the Delta variant of the pandemic coronavirus than two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, according to a large Israeli study..... Put another way, vaccinated individuals were 27 times more likely to get a symptomatic COVID infection than those with natural immunity from COVID.

Posted earlier in this thread - 0.65% chance, vast majority had co-morbidities. It's statistically insignificant at this point, and the argument is that since acquired immunity is orders of magnitude more effective and longer lasting than vaccinations, why does a vaccine passport exist?

Again - anyone who is claiming misinformation - all my sources are clearly referenced. You're selective deciding which facts to agree with from the same publications?

There's an emotional response happening because I'm not seeing any scientific rebuttal.

@ThePenIsMightier - you can do better than that bro. Dig up some facts if you want to refute any of the points I made Or you can flex some of that english lit to impress the ESL members on the board.

i dont have time to look all of it up now but your facts might be dated, as reinfection rates are raising, not sure if it is panic levels or media hype.

the other problem is they are just looking at antibody levels and the body has other methods to fight virus other then antibodies. So the fact is anti-bodies lesson over time with Vax or the actual covid. i have not seen one proof if one is better then the other over time.

just cause you have had covid does not mean, i would not get vaxxed....

CLicked on a few, here are some nice excerpts:

However, a significant decrease in neutralisation ability was found for 20I/501Y.V1 in comparison with 19A isolate for critical patients and HCWs 6-months post infection.
So a risk of unvaccinated people who have previously had Covid against variants.

As a result, vaccination of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) convalescent individuals with currently available mRNA vaccines produces high levels of plasma neutralizing activity against all variants tested

    --

These results suggest that boosting vaccinated individuals with currently available mRNA vaccines would produce a quantitative increase in plasma neutralizing activity but not the qualitative advantage against variants obtained by vaccinating convalescent individuals.
Recovery + dose = better response than uninfected + two doses.

These results indicate that individuals with pre-existing immunity exert a more potent and sustained T cell response to SARS-CoV-2 spike after the first dose of the vaccine, consistent with recent investigations

    --

At present, there is a shortage of doses to vaccinate a large proportion of the population and public health authorities are designing priority vaccination strategies according to age, comorbidities and risk assessment criteria. We conclude that using ex vivo SARS-CoV2 specific cellular immunity tests may allow health authorities to screen individuals for pre-existing immunity against SARS-CoV-2 and update their priority strategy for ongoing vaccination campaigns against COVID-19 to provide vaccination certificates to those individuals with pre-existing immunity after the first vaccine dose.
A different situation appears to be the case for convalescent individuals. Longitudinal serological studies suggest that the spike-specific antibody response in convalescent individuals after the first mRNA dose is already equivalent to that of infection-naïve individuals after their second mRNA dose (Ebinger et al., 2021; Goel et al., 2021), suggesting that convalescent individuals may only need a single dose of vaccination.
So recvovery + dose = better response. Save second doses to prioritize supply.

Currently, we do not have exact information on how long adaptive immune memory lasts in COVID-19 convalescent patients. Whether antibody responses to SARS-CoV-2 wane over time in patients who have recovered from COVID-19 remains controversial.
This study didn't even test against any kind of vaccinated group.

Twelve convalescent participants received either the BNT162b2 (Pfizer) or the mRNA-1273 (Moderna) SARS-CoV-2 vaccine between the last two time points; these post-vaccination samples were not included in our analyses.
And this one didn't include the data from them, because that isn't what they were looking for.

So can I save myself some more clicks and just assume they all say the same thing:

Previously infected individuals getting a dose = better response, save the second dose.

    or

Having an infection shows immune activity later, but not compared to anything

    ?

The pleas for holding off on the second doses would make sense since the studies would have been coming out in the spring when the crunch on vaccination supply was high and debates on how to prioritize vaccine access was still being developed. But given that we aren't in a supply crunch anymore, and have enough doses stockpiled to give everybody their two-jabs (and some more to be safe), and we're getting less than a third of the doses now that we were getting at the end of June so we aren't taking doses away from the vulnerable and developing world (who aren't really able to deal with the logistics of the Pfizer vaccine anyway), and we're pretty much at administration capacity in these countries even if more doses were being made available, the plea to save the second dose doesn't really matter as much anymore?

But either way, I suggest you actually read the studies to make sure they actually support what you're trying to claim, rather than just post them from whatever anti-vax Facebook group you copied them from.

Get vaccinated, even if you've been infected. Stop spreading bullshit.
