So, right now, I'm part of the infamous crowd who hasn't switched over their tires. On my Range Rover I have all terrains which I *will* replace with a winter set I have once I fix a crack in a rim. But currently, the Rover is sitting at TRS Automotive getting a couple of things done to it so I'm stuck driving the XFR on dedicated Falken FK510 summer tires because I waited too long in the season to get the Rover looked at.
I had summer tires on a C5 Corvette I owned, and the thing because literally useless the moment temperatures dropped or snow accumulated, so I wasn't looking forward to driving over the last couple of days. But yesterday, the roads were just wet more than anything and today, once I got to the highway the roads were almost clear. On the side roads there was definite accumulation but the tires performed better than I expected for a summer-only tire.
Here's hoping I get my Rover back asap, because I can only push this luck so far...
This time three years ago I was driving my Z06 still lol.

The stress of facing iced up roads was at least entertaining from my own perspective...
Roads around Red Deer and North apparently in terrible condition due to freezing rain today. Was supposed to go to Bonnyville but turned around after Google maps added 33 mins to my time before I even reached Bowden.
Seems like MacLeod is clear again after that talented drunkard murdered a couple of innocent people yesterday evening. Initially, police said it'd be closed all night.
I'm on a flight to Vancouver this morning.

Can confirm. Freezing rain and black ice today. In Edmonton All city buses and school buses shut down. I slid through an intersection lights not expecting the roads were that slick. Has winter tires but did nothing on todays weather. Should of stayed home instead of drove to work. Prayers for me on drive home but it'll be +5 and sunny by then so should be okayThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
