I love being a walking dichotomy. A - because that's a fancy English Lit word with deep meaning and B - because I grew up with some great dogs and I really like them (in the hands of responsible owners who teach the dog their place).
I get to take care of a pair of these shit heads in a little bit and I think it's going to be fun, but also remind me why I just can't picture dog ownership for at least another decade.
I've helped out with these dogs before and it's pretty funny because they seem so insistent on following me around and waiting to see what I'll do that I think it pisses their actual owner off.
I like to stay up late and that throws them for a huge loop because they feel like "WtF is this guy doing?! It's fuckin bed time and we should be curled up at the base of one of these retard's beds and instead this BossGuy is fuckin around on his light-up rectangle instead of sleeping... I better stay down here, I guess..."

It’s funny how dogs do that even though you can tell they are tired as shit and already half asleep. Ours also sleeps in upstairs with the last person to wake up in the house. Probably something instinctual about never leaving a pack member alone in the extremely dangerous main floor, and protecting the vulnerable ones who are sleeping.

We stopped allowing her on our bed tho after 6 years of free rein because we thought it might be contributing to all the kids sicknesses. She was sad at first but got over it pretty quick after like 2 weeks.

It is COMPLETELY unacceptable for someone to be forced to sit next to a dog on a flight. I'd be requesting a change or seat immediately and if not provided your dog would accidentally be getting fed all the chocolate and in flight beef jerky i could get my hands on. It's not my fault it ate off my tray.
