$17.37/kg for AA strip loin at Safeway and Sobeys (with Scene card).
I made a bunch last night and it turned out great. Be careful not to overcook as they are thinner than Costco. I could've done a much better job of I was paying more attention.

Back Ribs onsale at Costco. Already pretty cheap at $7.99/kg, but $5 off per pack this week. Works out to ~$7-8 per rack.

$30 off strip loin at Costco. Each slab I seen was $200+ so good deal if you need meatttt

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Yes, I just saw this as well. And while I didn't take advantage of that one, I did snag the $5 off on chicken thighs (with bone & skin). That's basically 20% off.

I got the strip loin last time it was on sale. It’s not fantastic, imo.

Costco also has $30 off wagyu strip, and each pack is ~$100 so it’s a decent discount.

Thx for the tip, grabbed one of the wagyu striploins as a special treat. Just need to decide if I should smoke it low and slow and reverse sear as a roast, or cut it into 2 thick steaks and grill them.

Worked out to about $67.50/kg so better be good lol

Is it just me or does the quotes make “wagyu” sound a bit sketch

Also, Wagyu is good don’t get me wrong. But it’s not really what I want for my day to day steak.

    It’s often too rich

The Costco wagyu above is comparable to a usda prime strip, imo. Still great, but not like…. Wagyu great.
@sabad66 let us know how you like them/if they were worth it.

I want to try it someday, but I can tell you're right even before I've tried it. I need to go in not expecting steak.

The marbling doesn't look much different compared to prime

Got a piece today as well. Found a small piece for $80, so pretty cheap after $25 off. Worth a try. It's Australian wagyu

It's definitly no A5 Wagyu, but it's also not $130/lb. It looks a bit more marbled than Prime. I'm a big fan of Brant Lake Wagyu, which is ~$100-130/kg for striploin so I'm curious to see how this compares at under half the price.

Not on sale, but still available; they’re stocking a diff variety of it now. Call whatever location you’re going to for confirmation if you’re on the fence.

So like I erroneously mentioned in the drinking thread, boneless rib grilling steak is $14 off per package at Costco. Roughly 20% savings.

$20 off per pack Prime Bone In Rib at Costco. Picked up this guy yesterday. Marbling much better than the pic makes it seem
