She is going to get wrecked in that riding if she's successful in the nomination. The only reason the NDP ever won was because nobody voted that year

I'm not sure if this helps the NDP as her reputation precedes her. She's only ever been popular in her city ward and even that was dubious at times. I don't even want to think of what she is capable of doing on a province wide scale.

I think CTV got a lot of interactions because angry people froth at the mouth anytime her name is mentioned, even though nobody expects her to win that riding, including the NDP who wouldn't give her one of the ridings that has overlap with the ward she represented.

Is NDP not giving Druh Calgary-Bow?

The anti-PC/UCP vote has been pretty steady over the years in that riding. It isn't a riding that has "Druh support" like Calgary-Mountainview (or even Calgary-Varsity) that kept getting her elected municipally. I don't think name recognition is helping her in that part of town.

If Druh wins Calgary-Bow then the NDP has walked away with the election, because if she can win that riding, every marginal suburban riding in Calgary will go NDP.
