Are there any 5 or 6 year old Tesla's yet? How's the used market on these bad boys?

Well I'm poor, so I bought a model 3, maybe I should have bought another car. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
$30/ hour poor? I think not....
Yeah I seem to recall the Model 3 was supposed to be the car for the masses @ $35k.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Sounds like the Model 2 is coming next year @ $25k.
Not sure whether people actually pay these actual prices for the vehicles though or whether it’s the classic bait and switch.
I'd be concerned about coming up on battery replacement time. From what I've been hearing it's ~$25,000 to replaceThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
As long as you price it in that probably isn’t the worst option especially considering the long term reliability of the rest of the car. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Battery replacement was one of THE BIG concerns with the original Prius. Didn't that turn into a non-issue? Will we find that batteries are more long lasting on Teslas and other pure EV's as well? Wouldn't surprise me.

Those were NiMH batteries which has a decent history of reliability. That said, still a decent number of failures, enough that aftermarket companies have sprung up on repairing Prius batteries much cheaper than buying oem replacements. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. No clue on how lithium ion will fare in the long run. Weird data points all over the place.

Will need gov't intervention, Comrade.
I’m more saying as long as you price the 25k repair into your used purchase decision maybe it’s not so bad. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I have no idea how much early model S’s go for though.

The cost of that battery will be factored into the cost of ownership for new buyers. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Does Tesla do leases?
I saw a Model 3 with a roof box parked approximately 40km past lake Louise on the 93 today and I wonder how tight that’s guys range is going to be getting anywhere.
There is a charger in Louise. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I'm sure lots of Tesla owners take full advantage of those chargers so they don't have to park at the bottom of the hill with the plebs. My bet is that's the charging spots are occupied all weekend. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Isn't that only for superchargers? Thought the one up the hill are destination chargers and it's not open for public use, Fairmont guest only. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I'm far from someone who will be buying a tesla any time soon, but it's not rocket science to make these work if you plan ahead a little. When you see someone driving a tesla somewhere and you don't know how they did that, it doesn't mean they are the idiot.....
