Haha Lewis haters aren't gonna acknowledge the barrage of bad luck he's been having ever since last season and the fact that his car was being fitted with variety of diff. setups for testing purposes and keep stating the "blessed" BS. I am excited for Russell's future with Merc. He's got great potential and once the car is back in order then I'd like to see how he fares with Lewis and everyone else and especially when Lewis will stop getting unlucky with various things. There was a glimmer of hope on Friday in FP2 with their cars but not sure what they did to them Saturday onwards. Good joint result still considering the shitty'ness of the car, though the chances of them fighting for either WDC or Constructor are pretty low now.
My only hope is that Max doesn't win in the end and Leclerc takes it but Mr. crytappen appears to be in good form and Leclerc unable to stand-up to him due to Ferrari not being as strong in the top end so it's looking good for the douche canoe. Ferrari hasn't brought any upgrades so far so hopefully they put up a good fight moving forward since it's still too early.
As much as I like DR, he's one of the most overrated guys out there right now. Consistently gets outperformed by LN. I like him and want him to do well but I feel he's passed his peak and there's no coming back from where he's at now. His future at McLaren is deff. up in the air if any other better options are out there at the junior levels. And FYI, every time anyone has ever won the WDC, they have had the best car. No one wins the WDC with a shitty car so I really don't get that hate against Lewis. The key is to put everything together even when having the best car to pull off wins consistently like he did for the all the years and not crack under pressure as a lot of people do (see Bottas in Miami, Max with quali. lap last season in the second last race etc.).This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member.
