That’s fair. But I think you should be more accurate in your criticism.

The secret is in the telemetry. Mercedes is clearly faster than Ferrari into and out of corners. Mercedes right now is really slow on the straights at higher speeds. So the question is, does Ferrari have a rocket engine, able to overcome the reduced drag of the slim Mercedes and blow it away by massive margins? Or is Mercedes turning it down more so than Ferrari? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Either way, they’re a hell of a lot closer than just lap times suggest.

I think there is practice tmr, eventually they need to drive at the limit. The porpoise effect was looking really rough on Hamilton at the start of second practice, I didn’t see the end result for the day though. Ferrari is looking real stable, come on Carlos!!
Also read Hamilton's interview in which he said the car is not performing at all and he doesn't expect they'd be wining many races with a car like that. I guess time will tell.
I have a feeling that Merc is sandbagging. For sure the car is bouncing around a lot and they are not probably completely unleashed it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Do you also believe him when he says his tires are gone? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
When he drives another 15 laps on them ….
I have no doubt that merc will be at that front but how close will Ferrari and Mclaren are the real questions
I don't think Mclaren will be top 3 after their minimal run time due to the brakes overheating costing them valuable run time.
This worked as planned. I am able to use my existing email address to take advantage of the 20% offer by using the quoted method. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Don't forget this 20% off deal ends today at 5 pm Mountain time.
Edit: btw, I immediately cancel the subscription on the new subscription so that they don't charge my credit card automatically next year. For those that have an old account, you should do that as well so you don't pay for 2 accounts at the same time.

I’m having issues with the app on my Apple TV. It kicks me out and I have to sign in again, then it forgets where I left off and Apple TV is terrible at fast forward. Other than that I’m happy.
I'm rooting for Ferrari this year as well, I haven't been this excited for an F1 season since I first got into it due to the Commodore 64 F1 racing game back in the late 80s in the Prost/Senna/etc years. Hopefully we get another 1988 Monza like Ferrari 1 and 2 finish repeat to come this year. I still remember the crowds rushing the field like a college football game when that happened. Good times.
I'm not sure how to feel about the Haas thing - I feel bad for the kid (not his father), but I understand how impossible it'd be to have a major sponsor with such close ties to Putin right now, it'd be a death sentence for the team.
My membership doesn't renew until mid of May anyway so I can't really take advantage of that deal. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Ya what I am wondering about instead is if that company is out as a sponsor, that means HAAS is out major $$$ - where are they going to recover the deficit from? Unless some other company will be sponsoring them now I guess, but haven't heard anything. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Very much looking forward to the first race. Hoping Ferrari can finally turn things around after the last couple of years. Will also be interesting to see where Haas ends up after their struggles.
Is there a beyond F1 Fantasy already set up?

A lot of Haas' sponsor issues ultimately boil down to Gene Haas not willing to put more of his money into the team. The amount is no small feat, but still. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
