they also had many cameras on him, and they're acting like heroes for kicking him out, i wouldn't be surprised if they planted him just to act like heroes... also they chased him out but conveniently none of the thousands in the mob thought to follow him to find out the identity. I don't understand the logic that it's not ok to carry the confederate flag, but well known racists walk among, and even lead the group, and they don't condemn him, they idolize him, because he's not carrying a flag..

Just curious... Because my 4 am wakeup and insomnia had me pondering it all morning.

Both sides have painted themselves into a corner with rhetoric, and both are definitely too ego driven to budge an inch off their demands...

Our omicron wave is lagging about a month behind europe/uk - that means - we'd probably be loosening masking etc rules next week-ish... And the numbers are trending that way.

But with a convoy in ottawa making stupid demands; and a ego driven PM who won't allow himself to bend to the fringe... We can be pretty sure - neither side is going to back down at all - I can see this extending a delay in 'returning to normal'...

Yeah, he can't mandate the provinces not to relax restrictions - but he can hold a carrot/stick as he likes to do so frequently with dollars; and with the order in council bullsh*t still happening...

I don't think that's true. It's important to keep track of what party does what, and important to also remind everyone every time it's brought up that the other party is guilty of that as well. Otherwise how would we know?

I'll also point out that we're still not free from our federal tyrants, and this is because the protestors are too lazy. And that they must feel like giant pieces of shit knowing that they drove to Ottawa and nobody cares anymore because all the hot action is at Coutts. Lazy stupid protesters.

I'd be curious as to exactly how damaging this is to all sorts of border crossers. I mean sure, you have the people who are transporting fruits and vegetables, but you also have people smuggling cheese, and the ones least able to afford interruptions in shipping = the illicit drug deal traders.

I mean, your average Canadian will get very slightly angry if they can't get their broccoli. But if a drug dealer can't get access to goods for a couple weeks - it could mean permanent loss of customer.
