Funny special as CR always is. I think he's the GOAT comedian at least for my generation. Pretty angry undertones throughout which is understandable. He's gone thru some shit aside from the slap incident and it comes through the comedy. His first couple albums were so carefree and silly in comparison.

Does anyone still think it was fake/scripted? Sad we live in a time where we can't believe the things we see right in front of us. Granted it was celebs on a televised award show but we have to be a very paranoid society for the 'scripted' view to get any traction.

Going back to Will Smith there's a belief that everybody loved him before the incident. I don't think that's true. He was universally loved during the 'fresh prince' years but then he went into hollywood and made a lot of movies ranging from decent to awful. His solo rap albums were a complete disgrace in censoring himself and ushered in the 'shiny suit' era that commercialized & sold out the culture.
