The Pro and Std XLT now qualify for the 5k federal rebate too, so another 5k drop for those models on top of that. The Pro dropping 20k overall is huge
Oh dam 19k for a sunroof now. Haha.
Are the pro’s even available?? Thought that was fleet only or something.
Ford’s website says it’s sold out for this model year. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Ev6 at Kokanee Creek. Not a powered site.

EV6 is fine. It's the GT that's got shitty range.

I've started looking for EV chargers. The ferry terminal at Crawford Bay had 2.

I stopped in at Nisku Ford as they had a pile of Lightnings and Mach-Es sitting on the lot. The salesman was pretty despondent at the demand for electric; admittedly it was Nisku which is about the most oil industry-centric dealer around me. I couldn't get any answers about the price cuts, nor about the change in charge plug. They won't do any custom orders as they can't move what they have in stock right now either. I don't see the situation improving for dealers as they continue to ramp production.
I think it’s funny the system is clearly so broken I never got called for my lightning pre order and Ford eventually just refunded me automatically.

No different here in the Okanagan. The Mach E in particular seems to be piling up but lightnings are also plentiful. I know the sales manager well, many get traded in when people discover the few downsides to EV ownership. Know a guy that made nearly $20,000 flipping his lightning last December. Same truck is sitting now with $12,000 off MSRP. Thinking the interest rate can’t be helping sales.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out, chevrolet will enter the truck market soon are they going to lower their expectaions??
How low will the prices come down for ford, the whole ev department was expected to lose 2B this year maybe it will be much more. Probably a good time to sit on the side lines and watch. I really want something new but not looking at getting tied to higher rates or prices.
What's the word on the vw ID lineup in alberta I've yet to see one.
Silverado WT has gone from $40K to $70K USD.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
And GM built a whopping 3000 or so units on Ultrium in 2023. And GM's CAMI shuts down for July for lack of battery. GM is failing hard.
VW ID 4 is still short in supply even if Europe plant is idling and plenty of US inventory stuck on the lots.

TLDR. VW's current platform is shit. Next gen platform is delayed until 2027.
Audi is done waiting, will use SAIC platform from China instead.
This doesn't look good for Porsche upcoming EVs as well.
Said it before, I'll say it again. The germans are screwed. Most premium Euro brands are screwed, probably including the likes of Ferrari. But the germans in particular are screwed.
I'll probably be cancelling my Denali EV order shortly.
As an aside, watching the Blue Jays game today, I bet i saw a dozen F150 Lighting advertisements every hour - 3 in about a 5 minute span a couple times too. Really must want to sell them some Lightings with that advertising splash...
Well yea.
F150’s make up the vast majority of fords sales and if you believe government bluster they likely don’t have another generation of IC trucks left to sell.
If I was ford I’d be scared shitless, maybe even worse than the ‘chermans.

5 new Mach-Es on the local lot, 3 of them 2022 models. I'd consider one if they weren't $88k and utterly pointless in Sask winter highway driving.
