Does a criminal offense come with impounding the car? They can't seize it right?
Suddenly RCMP has a 911T ghost car
Or this but less cooler

It's been a while since I've known anyone to get one, but in all 3 cases, car wasn't seized. Was free to drive off. Last one was 10 years ago. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
One was a super bullshit case back in the 90's. Friend was a Chinese guy that barely spoke English. Driving on Shaganappi by Varsity drive, going 30 because the roads turned to black ice and he had summer tires on. Spun out going 30, cop was there, questioned him and somehow gave him a criminal charge for that. Cost thousands in lawyer fees for a not guilty verdict. Either he said something wrong in bad English, or cop was just racist. I was in the car behind him, and ended up being a witness at trial. Fun experience.

When I heard this on the radio I thought for sure this was someone on beyond haha
172 on Stoney was my last big one. The officer let me continue to ride to work but I tell ya, he was so pissed and really let me have it. That cost me around $2300 total to keep my license.
Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.
You can outrun the helicopter, just depends of how much flying time it's had after the last refueling and when/where it's called out for the chase. When shit use to go down in Black Diamond or Turner Valley, it always turned into a high speed chase because of highway access. The RCMP would call in the CPS helicopter and I don't recall it ever being
successful in helping arrest anybody in any of the reported rural chases. In the mid 2000's, the end report would usually be the helicopter ran low of fuel and had to be called off and RCMP lost the suspects. Hopefully the new helicopter they have is more capable than what they were flying mid 2k.

Hawcs has two brand new H125's, but they still only have 4-1/2 hour flight capability (the same the previous EC120)
