    How much over MSRP?
That’s weird. From what I’ve gathered, GT cars are sold at MSRP - AND above if they’re deemed used. Used can be like 100kms, they have weird work arounds there.

Other OEM dealers charge above for new. Can someone confirm this with Porsche dealers?

I assume you got Competition model? Color?
Yup, competition. Colour was skyscraper grey metallic but I've had it wrapped somewhat similar to the factory purple (darker) then satin ppf'ed it.

Pretty hard comparison to draw tbh as both have their pros and cons.

The best way I can put it is, the M3 feels like an everyday car that is fast as fuck.

GTS felt like a bit of a more special car that was also fast as fuck.

I feel like you could have both in the garage and the two cars are different enough and suit different purposes enough to justify having both at the same time if that makes sense. But if you could only have one car then the M3 is a better overall option to have.

The tech, refinement, smoothness etc. is miles better in the M3 but my AMG was a 2016 so not sure how the newer ones are and with M3 being brand new at 2024 that part is not quite a fair comparison.

At the end of the day the GTS feels more 'exotic' in terms of looks and the emotional feeling it gives you because of the way it looks, but the M3 is a better car in pretty much every other way.

Let's just put it this way, if I wanted to continue fucking around with cars at this time then I would want something other than M3 and something more exotic (even more so than the GTS), but if you gotta stick to one car for a few years that will do everything well then there aren't that many better options out there than the M3 (but it lacks in invoking that visceral/emotional feeling that a more exotic looking car would bring to a person).

Yup. I’ve seen it do rounds as soon as a month after the new owner got it from Edmonton Porsche.

Not quite a “crash”, but at least prices seem to be re-entering earths orbit again. After casually keeping an eye out on MK8 Golf R prices for a couple years, it seems like the days of thousands over MSRP and several months of waiting are coming to an end, if you’re willing to shop around. Still plenty of dealers that are refusing to accept reality though. I managed to snag a ’24 for under MSRP with no BS dealer fees.

I've been looking for a 10+ year old truck in various configurations but people are still out to lunch on their prices.

    Search continues.

Trucks are a shitshow, and have been for 10 years, and will continue to be. The floor is help up by the thousands of tradesmen etc who buy any decent used one, plus the strong export market. Honestly, new is a decent value in comparison.

Yeah Universal ford has been calling me every week for the past month trying to buy my 18 f150. They offered 10g over book value which was interesting offer, the problem is trying to find a new vehicle that is not out to lunch.

Yes they are and I'm aware but I'll continue to look for something that fits my needs. I have the ability to wait, I had something lined up a month ago but hesitated to pull the trigger as I wanted a higher trim, then that truck finally sold. Oh well, that's how she goes sometimes.

Not interested in buying a new truck, just keep sifting through used stuff.

What did they offer you and what trim do you have? In 2021 they offered me 44k for my 18 lariat screw 502A but when I went in to see what the numbers were for a new one i had to politely decline. That was also my first 4square experience lol

If you walk into a dealership "to see what the numbers are" you may as well wear this:
