Group buy?
Timeshare? I'll take weekends.
I don’t think you’ll be seeing deals any time soon.
I look around at my friends/acquaintances circle, everyone is doing well financially, and has idle cash/spare money they’re looking to invest or purchase assets with. Everyone is btfd. All my clients are flush with cash, looking for deals. Anyone we interview has the most ridiculous remuneration expectations, and even then, it’s very difficult to find and hire competent people. Maybe that’s just my sample size, I don’t see how in these circumstances the price of anything is going down.
I think we need even higher interest rates.
agree. idk any poor people lol they all seem to be balling ahaThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I don't think interest rate will impact the top end. Those buyers are always there and ready to go.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
You'll need a 1920s style market crash.
Should rename it the appreciation thread and talk about how much things have gone up
That's what's I appreciates about you.
Mega bubble means mega crash. LEEEEETTTTSSSS GOOOOOOO.
An actual concrete reason for one portion of the market to see deflation.

Transportation appliances should be commoditized.

Dept of Transportation will figure out a way to keep them costly and so will tariffs.
Im all for cheap Chinese EVs if that’s what it takes to drop the prices of vehicles I actually want to own…
Cheap Chinese EV's...
Overload the North American power grid unable to support a mass adoption of EV's... 4D chess by Xi.
I don't want to be labelled waisist, but I think I'd take public transportation before buying a "Cheap Chinese EV".
(Trying to imagine that either would be a viable choice is kind of difficult... NBP).

Better ask what brand the bus or train you’ll be going in then. Government loves cheap shit so they keep the rest of the budgetThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Would love to see more NIO vehicles on the road, sales are picking up in Europe.
I like the ES8 SUV, but it's basically a LR rip-off (but hey it's China so what do you expect).

The best you get are Tesla 3/Y RWDs and Buick Envision.
Smart #1 looks cool because it's designed by MB.

Brabus version has 428HP.
Incoming Volvo EX30 is based on this platform.
The made in China (Shanghai) Model 3/Y RWD just starting to come off the boat now. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Volvo EX30 will also be made there (Xian). So is Polestar 2 (Chengdu).
Model 2 (or whatever cheap Tesla will be called) will be made in Giga Mexico with tons of Chinese suppliers.
Back on topic.

If I didn't know better, a Tesla is precisely what I would expect to be sharted out of China.
This kinda fits in here. Just want to share that I canceled a deposit on a Kia Telluride as we decided to go with an CX90 PHEV instead, and process was pretty smooth. Ngl, I was half expecting some bullshit with it or even some fee taken off the amount, so pleasantly surprised I got the entire amount back.
They had to mail the deposit back as a cheque vs refunding back to my CC, but overall hassle free. So at least with Eastside Kia, “refundable deposit” on a factory order truly does mean refundable.
How long wait for CX90 PHEV? Isn't the standard one a 48v mild hybrid anyway? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Seems like the an engineer's wet dream.
