Have the liberals ever one time even come close to hitting one of their budgets?

I give it as much credibility as if it was written by Bernie Madoff. Maybe less.
Martin / Chretien years they were pretty good. I thought they were horrible at the time, but I had no idea how far this shit hole country could fall.

Well they had to deal with the debt crisis, lest the CAD$ fall to Mexican Peso levels.

Canada going to enter recession, thus the gov't now has a reason to spend more money as stimulus.

Surprise tax on dividends to be taxed as INCOME for financial institutions & insurers. On top of the stock buy back tax that's double what the US announced. As someone who typically votes liberal they need to go. Been in power too long.

Not familiar with Cdn budget/tax history but is there precedent for rolling back dumb taxes like these after new party comes into power? I just know Trump rolled back corporate taxes quite a bit.

Ha ha mark to market to be treated as income. Nice double taxation going on now lol.

Somebody must have told the Libs that current levels of spending without more taxation would lead to a credit downgrade.

In light of the new budget, here is a fun article from the Fraser Institute.

TLDR: 42% of Canadians are in favor of Socialism, they just don't want to be the ones paying for it.

It's always been like this. More like triple or quadruple...company pays you or corporation out some dividend from after tax profits after paying taxes on all their goods & services incurred on top of your salary being taxed, you or corporation pays some tax on that dividend, you pay taxes when you spend that money on anything and everything you buy. I get you need to pay taxes on vital & useless govt services but line needs to be drawn somewhere.

I take it you've actually never received dividend income. Good jorb.

Next thing you'll tell me GST is double taxed too.

Do you even know what you're looking at?

You know, the chart that disproves what you're saying?
